The new map floor with the wobbly water underneath is way too distracting, in my opinion.

About the desktop crashes - they are most likely related to more than one bug, plus they occur quite randomly, so it might take a while before they get fully patched.

It uses Adventure Game Studio and sadly I have been unable to get it to run, let me know in the comments if you have more luck than I do. Would love to give this one a little run as a fan.
What problems did you encounter? The game starts ok for me on Ubuntu 14.04.

Actually, I don't think that Insurgency is about terrorists. But that's just me nitpicking since it's one of my favorite games :)

I actually tried this game and was seriously disappointed, as a fan of platformers. It simulates retro systems alright, but it is just not really... fun :(
