Quoting: FishticonI'd play AutoChess if there was a tutorial for it. I don't know how all those people figured it out.
Probably the same way how I figured out X4. Youtube!

I really only use the 2FA/verification part of the Steam app. The more they take out, the better it is.

A 2D pixel art game in Unreal Engine. I don't think I've seen that combination before.

Quoting: iiariX4 would be a nice addition to that list as well.

Can anyone get Tannenberg running? It still hangs at the title screen for me...
Indeed, X4 has been one of my personal highlights.

As for Tannenberg, haven't tried it myself, but Samsai has streamed it a few times. Maybe something controller related? Unity can be troublesome when you have non-standard "joysticks" plugged in.

Quoting: EikeI'd be happy enough if they could remove their tab from my Steam inventory page...
I'd be happier if Steam could let me manage that mess better.

I like the new (old?) look better. It doesn't feel as much like it tries to be Fortnite now.

But still, even if they manage to get their game running properly, they need to make it fun. Which means they need to have a lot of players (which is unlikely to happen in the beginning) or need to do something special for smaller player numbers. If not, it'll be dead again before you know it.

Looks like they're aiming for much smaller and compact matches than the big BR games. Which is good because they can avoid the player number problems that certain other crazy BR titles suffer from.

While there's no date for the Linux version of Insurgency: Sandstorm, NWI remain committed to do it

I'm also committed to becoming a billionaire! The likelihood of that happening .... Let's not talk about that. :D

id Software going all-in with Vulkan, some interesting details about that and Linux for Stadia

Quoting: elmapulxorg is obsolete, and wayland is not even close to be ready for the prime time, so...
They don't need any of that stuff. All they need to do compress the rendered frames of a single program into a video stream, combine it with audio and send it off to the great beyond. Plenty of open tools that can do that already.

Quoting: Mohandevir1-2% of marketshare is still better than 0$... Must have failed my maths courses.
In this case you did. First of all, it's 1-2% of PC users. Much less with consoles included. Second, it's not compared against $0, but against the potential profit of those people working on something for Windows+Console. And I can assure you that that is worth much more. The financial argument for supporting Linux only works if you don't have something else lined up to work on.
