Most distributions have other sources to directly install from. What distro are you using?

Quoting: TeodosioI would buy it if it weren't for all the Endless games included. Amplitude (the developer) made a point not to support GNU/Linux.In case of bundles that's not really a reason. You can explicitly deny them any money by customising the distribution. I always zero the non-Linux games when I buy bundles.

I wonder why they chose to stream the Linux version when Mac version is releasing two days later. Also, it's not really a delay since a date was never announced.

Quoting: sbolokanovIf you want to see Feral and Aspyr games in GOG do spare the time and click the +1 button in this wishlist entry: https://www.gog.com/wishlist/site/bring_feral_interactive_and_aspyr_to_gog [External Link]A bit silly even. For that to happen, Square Enix should put these games on gog first.

Quoting: KelsIf you're telling me it's sensible for a game company to leave millions on the table, ...Yes, a sensible company will leave millions on the table if their manpower is better spent elsewhere. The harsh reality of the world.

Quoting: KelsRemember that not everyone in the Linux community is on GoG. Not everyone speaks up. It's generally assumed that if one person expresses interest, they represent several others who simply don't speak up or use that platform. One percent is still one percent. If a business can use its people to do something more and get a larger return, then they'll do that and forget about the one percent. If you want to be a strict 'no tux, no bux'er, you'll have to accept that you'll miss out on some stuff.

Quoting: STiATWithout the userbase, organizations like Adobe won't port their software - why would they?A common problem with professional software is that they have existed for a very long time and have had a very long history on certain platforms. Adobe is probably one of the few that had to make a switch at some point to move away from their MacOS focus. I personally use software at work that has a history of Unix since the 1970s. These programs grew big on SunOS/Solaris/IRIX and when Linux came around it was quickly supported as well. With the effective demise of SGI and Sun, Linux and Windows are still the main platforms with Linux being the definite choice for the calculation clusters. In this part of the software corner, Linux support was the logical choice.
