Desperados III [External Link] is also on sale at ~60% off for the Digital Deluxe Edition bundle - I think this is where I finally bite!

You should really upgrade to buster (Debian 10) though...

Quoting: Avehicle7887Waiting for Debian 11 this year, I use this distro as my main OS as it's easy to create an offline repo and it's rock solid (got a bunch of offline systems all over the house so its handy).Amen! Been using Debian on my main machine since the 90s!
My current good old Debian 9 base is showing its' age. Many programs work fine and I even have a bleeding edge kernel, Mesa and Wine however there are a few odd cases where a software refuses to compile from source.

In case you're curious about Stadia, here's a great deal on Borderlands 3:

By signing up for the Stadia Pro trial I was able to get BL3 Ultimate for ~$1 to keep.
I was also part of the Stadia beta ("Project S" at the tiem) so I know it works great for me (other than gobbling up my limited bandwidth) but YMMV.

I finally finished Subnautica last night after many weeks of playing it. It's true what everyone says: this game really is a masterpiece, regardless of all the bugs. I can't remember the last time I was so affected by a game and I've been gaming for close to 40 years now.
Also recently finished A Short Hike, which is a great little indie gem, really enjoyed it and wished it had lasted longer.
Started playing Divinity Original Sin II in co-op with my daughter a couple of weeks ago. So far so good, hopefully we'll finish this one, unlike the first one where we sort of just stopped playing around the midgame DOSII seems more accessible and actually a bit easier, enjoying it so far though my daughter really wants to sneak around and steal everything...
Finally, just started Batman Arkham Knight today, I've always been a big fan of the Arkham games and this looks fun as well. I don't much mind the much-maligned batmobile so far but I guess it's too early to tell.

Once again, r/PatientGamers FTW! I've had this game since 2013 and have always meant to play it. I even started it a couple of times after some graphical bug was fixed with a Wine update a long ago time ago but now I can really play it on Linux and with a bunch of nice updates! Of course, now I have to wait a couple of months for any kinks in the update to be ironed out...
Humble Choice for May gives out XCOM 2, Rise of Industry and more

Here's my profile [External Link] if you want to trade and see anything you like on my tradeable games. XCOM 2 is on my wishlist but I have more than half of the games that I want in this month's HB bundle so I'll be pausing.

Quoting: SalvatosIf anyone ends up with extra keys for XCOM 2, I wouldn’t mind taking one off your hands after trying it out during the past week :) I have a number of other keys I could trade if interested!I recommend barter.vg [External Link] for trading, though be careful of lowball offers when you first sign up.

Well, I was playing The Witcher 3 but on Saturday I read a discussion about Subnautica on /r/patientgamers and decided to try it out since I got it for free from the Epic store and it's essentially DRM-free. I am now eight hours in and I've got six lockers full of titanium with no end in sight...
Also playing a bit of Little Nightmares (good but not great), Monkey Island 2 (never finished it), The Journey Down (again, now that I have all three episodes), and Trine 2 (coop with my daughter who is trapped at home with her parents).

I'm so close to buying Dying Light but I'm afraid my old rig won't run it. I'm still on an i5-3570K CPU and a GTX660 (not even TI...) GPU. Can I run this game even on medium settings?

Quoting: g000hThis is weird. www.protondb.com will not give that game, as an option for me, when I do suitable searches in the search box: I searched for "Earth Defense" and the EDF 4.1 game did not appear in the list of matched titles.I've had similar problems for the last couple of days. I was trying to check Proton compatibility for the games in last month's HB Monthly bundle but some of them just won't show up at all in the ProtonDB search results, such as Rock of Ages 2 and Aaero.
