Valve are finally fixing buying games on Steam Deck that need a pop-up

I am in one of those countries that need popup when paying by card. But because I never really bought anything on Steam Deck yet I didn't noticed that there is any issue with it :-D

It seems that my choices are not on the list :-D But it's not surprising when I'm just playing games I have in my library and never really played them before. Steam Deck is really awesome for that, I feel like I'm rediscovering the gaming world again. :-)

I'm surprised to see Warhammer 40k: Darktide running on Steam Deck. I was part of beta test and it didn't even launched. They even officially said that Steam Deck is not supported in Beta. But it seems it works now. Another game to add to wishlist :-)

Oh I see it was a public vote, lame.
Perish the thought that anything should be decided based on what most people think.

This sounds like democracy :-D

Well good luck with that, because the game is considered Unsupported on Steam Deck, with the reason being that there's no good graphic settings that can be configured to make the game run well on the device. About the only game so far I've seen to have that as being a reason for being labelled as Unsupported, so if you can figure out settings to have it run well then more power to you.

I know about this, but I can still try :-)

Surprising probably no one, most people use the Steam Deck as a handheld

Do you mean since? Otherwise I'm confused.

Yes, I just switched those two words :-D

Quoting: HohlraumOne metric I'd be curious about is how many people aren't using the SD controls themselves and instead opt for an external controller. I have hundreds of hours on my SD now and I'll bet I've spent less than 3 hrs total actually holding the thing. I would be perfectly happy if a tablet FF SD was released that relied entirely on external (or detachable) controls.

I'm the opposite of that, I don't even have any external controller to connect to it (maybe except wireless mouse, but never tried it). And without some kind of stand to put Steam Deck into I don't really see a way to play on it without holding it in hands. I can imagine putting it in docking station next to TV and use an external controller to play on it, but in this case you still need a docking station and big monitor.

I have a high-end desktop, but didn't play anything on it since I got Steam Deck. For me it's much better to lie down on couch or bed with Steam Deck than sitting on chair when playing on PC. It is enough that I'm sitting in chair during work hours.
