I really need to get around to playing this. Looks like my type of survival game, and I've had it in my game library for quite some time, watching these updates keep on coming (and the game getting better).

One of my friends reckons that Half Life: Alyx is the best game he's ever played. He does play on Windows though, and has plenty of money to waste on VR equipment.

I think I'd prefer a number pad or some other real-hardware keys to perform this type of functionality rather than using a relatively expensive touch-screen. I imagine an Arduino + Hardware Buttons could do the same job, substantially cheaper, and more feedback when in use (i.e. a real click from a real button).

Yeah, I enjoyed it too. But as I already have it on Steam, it's unlikely I'll pick it up a second time on GOG.

I think there is also the fact that kids are out of school, and wanting computer access. Also Mums and Dads are at home, and wanting to use the computer too. It wouldn't surprise me that this extra home computing activity (school closed, office closed) means that multiple computers are being used at home, not just a single computer. At least some of those computers are probably older machines which have been refreshed with a Linux install.

I tried out Pathway, a few months ago, and wasn't that bothered and decided to not keep going with it. More recently I reinstalled it again (Small game, quick to download). This time round I've been getting more into it. It reminds me a little of the travel between nodes in FTL and the short encounters. The combat sections remind me of the old turn-based, isometric X-COM game. That is packaged up in an Indiana Jones-style world, with a story to match. In another way it is similar to FTL, you start off with a group of 3 different characters, and each character plays differently so you adapt your play-throughs accordingly. You unlock extra characters as you achieve objectives in the game. (Similar to playing/unlocking different ships in FTL.)

Picking it up in a sale, and it has been sitting in my wishlist for about a year: Walden, A Game. In this, you have a mild-survival, exploration, and appreciate-nature/art/philosophy experience. The game is flawed in execution, but it is still charming and engaging and I've been enjoying it. You're living the life of writer Henry David Thoreau when he decided to "go back to nature" in his life, and try to live self-sufficiently off the land near Walden Pond.

Sharing my own experience with this. I already had Into The Breach installed (via Proton). As I wanted to run the native Linux version, I uninstalled the "Windows" version that I had been running via Proton (approx 299MB).

Following the advice of Jens, I forced the Steam Linux Runtime mode, and then proceeded to install the Linux version (approx 305MB). On my first run of the fresh Linux version, the audio was silent. I dealt with the problem by stopping Steam, running my system updates, restarting my computer, and reloading Steam. Second time round, and audio was working fine. Hurray, a true Linux version - I've been hoping for this to happen.
