Sharing my own experience with this. I already had Into The Breach installed (via Proton). As I wanted to run the native Linux version, I uninstalled the "Windows" version that I had been running via Proton (approx 299MB).

Following the advice of Jens, I forced the Steam Linux Runtime mode, and then proceeded to install the Linux version (approx 305MB). On my first run of the fresh Linux version, the audio was silent. I dealt with the problem by stopping Steam, running my system updates, restarting my computer, and reloading Steam. Second time round, and audio was working fine. Hurray, a true Linux version - I've been hoping for this to happen.

I'm quite irritated about Surviving Mars - I got the base game some time ago and potentially interested in the Season Pass. The Surviving Mars: First Colony Edition (i.e. base game + season pass) is cheaper on Humble [External Link] than the Season Pass. Well, keep doing that and don't expect me to hand any more cash over.

Grabbed the Choices Bundle for this month. I can confirm that Bard's Tale IV comes with Bard's Tale Trilogy as an added bonus. For once a decent bunch of games I wanted, without matching what I already own (too much). This is an example of a month where the bundle really worked out for me. [I don't mind a few Proton titles, particularly when they haven't cost me much.]

Noting that it is a while (1 year) since this article was written and the game lists as "Windows" only on the Steam store page. It is also at quite a decent discount right now (70% off) [External Link]. I don't suppose this is another Hidden Linux title, i.e. If I bought it now, I'd be able to access a Linux native version?

I wish all devs would concentrate on making efficient code instead of needless bloat, and features (i.e. data-collecting metrics) that the end-users do not need.

Picked it up, that is a good discount.

One gripe I feel like mentioning about modern FPS games - For my own personal preference, I used to like titles where the Weapon Graphic did not take up huge amount of screen-estate, and either it was a fairly small and unobtrusive size, or it was not visible at all and you had a cross-hair in the centre of the screen for aiming. Nowadays you get these massive weapon models, that take up 25% of the screen and really spoil the field of view. I wish FPS games would offer the option to turn these graphics off. I like to see the levels and position of the monsters/enemies/approaching fireballs, without a massive blind-spot.

Similar to Purple Library Guy, I have quite a number of these titles already, but not much of the DLC, and if this bundle included Season Passes, DLC Upgrades, then I might be tempted to spend.
