Humble Bundle With Android 7 Smashes Down

I have two monitors, each with their own X screen (*), so of course I have Xinerama disabled.
That's most definitely something you should let them know about! It's very likely they only aimed for single monitor users (which I am at the moment, but hopefully in the future I'll go the way of multi-monitor).

It still seems like a good port to me, compared to older Humble Bundle's where the game's would usually not work properly for the first month :)

(like me using AMD beta graphic drivers)
When I read that, I immediately felt compelled to tell you that it's very likely an AMD driver issue. My friend on Windows is also using the current AMD beta drivers and he's experiencing issues with the platform AMD is supposed to be supporting first and foremost.

I haven't tried this game with Intel yet, but with the Nvidia 313 drivers on my 680 I do not experience that black screen when running NS2 from Steam. I do however experience the OpenGL crashes rather often (mostly when trying to become a commander).

Bought! Played the Bard's Tale, and my goodness Square One Games Inc. did a seriously good job on porting this!

It automatically detected my fullscreen resolution at 1920x1080, and set everything maxed out by default. All this on Ubuntu 13.10 with Nvidia 319 drivers in case anyone was wondering.

I'm going to give Worms Reloaded a go next. Both Greed Corp and Incredipede are not in my Steam Linux library yet, and Worms still doesn't have the binary.

With the amount of money they're putting into this, I really hope we can collectively help them get their return on investment. This is pretty awesome news :D

Wish I could attend this event... Some day in the future I'll be of a game developer status full time, and be able to learn from these professionals.

The Bard's Tale Release For Linux On Steam
14 Oct 2013 at 10:34 am UTC

Now that's awesome. Sadly can't afford most new games since I've gone and spent on the last steam sale and a small hardware upgrade... My desires to buy all games really can't be curbed.. hehe

I hope more developers do what inXile and Valve are doing, and port their older titles too. It would truly boost the Linux game library in Steam, and help reduce the wide gap we have against Windows-only games.

titlecoming to Linux: [Painkiller: Hell & Damnation](http://www.painkillergame.com/index.php).
It really feels like this game isn't coming... I read somewhere that it's sales weren't so good, which is likely why the Linux release is delayed. I was certain they said it would come out months ago. I hope it does come out for Linux though, I really do.
Finally, we've just noticed that Get Games [External Link] has begun to announce Linux compatibility for the games they sell.
Now, that's news to me! Nice catch muntdefems :D
On my end though, I'm still only seeing Windows and Mac being referenced.
