We've been fed a BETA instead of the proper release despite HBS promising us everything should be ready by the deadline.

Oh, and the game is still listed as unavailable for Linux on GOG (which is understandable considering they shoved our way v1.21β). :)

In the end, it's comparable to WINE, at least in the effect of running Windows binaries on Linux. They are tuning it for single games, though, and are giving support for them. And, perhaps most importantly, they've built their technology before Proton was a thing. I guess they've not been too happy about the news.

If they would have invest to Vulkan like Feral did , that wouldn't be an issue though.

Basically ; everything needs to be mainlined from distros POV. Out of the box DXVK compatible drivers in standart repos.

Give them time to reply first before jumping into conclusions. Even if it turns out as a really broken release like Witcher 2 , don't bash them etc. Simply refund and don't look back.

Because it is already called Medieval Collection and has everything in it. On Medieval 2 , you could buy Kingdoms expansion as an add-on. They just merged it.

Not yet. Maybe I'm trying it on weekend. Too busy with work as end of 2018 is getting nearer.
