Quoting: GuestI’d love to play this but Steam-only + additional always online DRM means I’ll wait for a huge sale if I ever buy it.
There is no always online requirement for HITMAN. See the opening section from Liam's review for more details.

"To get the elephant in the room out of the way first: The game does have an online requirement for certain features, these are extras and do not affect the main single-player story, which does not require you to be online."
Forget about them.As you can see they're obsessed with GOG drm-free editions. He says Steam only and talks about drm, that sums up

They just want clean piracy, thats all.

Keep up the good work

Looks like 'Warhammer: Arcane Magic', a digital board-game will add Linux support

In-app purchases...

I'll pass.Game is not free already(which is normal)so why it includes in-app purchases?

Games like this sounds up to me pre-paid and pay2win.

Quoting: michaYou know a game doesn't only costs 100-200k just because that's what the kickstarter raised. It's more likely 10x as much as people think. So is another platform during EA.
Muahahahhahaha

This last part is entertained me so much

Quoting: M@GOidFor those using Ubuntu and its derivatives, Padoka's PPA for Mesa stable releases is available:

Anybody tried it ? (Mint 18)

That's pretty scary, from the author's ppa page ;
"You can update your system with unsupported packages from this untrusted PPA by adding ...)
I'm using it on Mint 18.1 and i also recommended to some people.Everybodys systems are okay,it says untrusted because it's not an official Ubuntu Ppa.Same thing also happen on emulator ppa's like Pcsx2,Dolphin etc.

It seems they also didn't publish promised Mac version as well.

I think developers are just like that:Dude, let's do the windows version first. As 90 percent of potential buyers are out there. If sales are going to slow down we will release Linux and Mac versions for getting one last sale.

Quoting: AryvandaarSo basically once they shutdown their serves you can no longer play?

Think I'll skip this one then, properly wont have time to play anytime soon and it would suck to be unable to play because the auth server was no longer profitable.
I was reading about reports from mid-early last year and steam reviews, but I couldn't find any info if it has been fixed since then.
As i know, you need to login first but if your connection is lost your save can be stored locally.

Rocket League should now perform better on Mesa with radeonsi

Quoting: LeopardIf you can guarentee that Drm free releases are not open to abusing, then we will tell all developers -who works years on that games- to turn completely Drm free.

I bet if you were a dev,you will go with Drm,i'm pretty sure.

Drm lovers arguments are so lame actually and all of them hid a purpose under that words. They just don't want to pay, that's all. They're not giving a single shit besides that.
You know what? I don't care about your so-called argumentation, because it is nothing more than a very cheap excuse. Instead bringing up a concrete point you just ranting about DRM-free. You are just generalizing, which is a very good indicator that you are not willing to discuss. Your view is the right one, end of talk? Not the reality and not so easy. I've paid for every license I own, even today I've got the package of the classic adventure Blade Runner, which is lying besides my desk now waiting for installation. And I've paid a good price for it, not cheap. Because? Yeah, as I've said: I love classic games, without DRM. So keep your proprietary platform and calm down. ;)

A game is not available DRM-free? I won't buy it and I won't use any version besides the official, because the publisher / developer don't want me or better the way I want to use it.
Ok then.Good for you.

But don't cry for, why big games are have Drm kind. That's the order.Because always a possibility of legal pirating at Drm free. And big studios are normally cares about money. And with drm free i can guarentee that people will share drm free versions. And you,one person can't guarentee it.

Good luck with that
