Pledged for Tahira a few days ago, while I've been ignoring kickstarter for a while (still waiting for 11 games... although fortunately all projects are close to delivery or are improving well) the game attracted my interest with the attention to details the devs are showing, and considering the advanced state of the project the risk feels minimal as well.
I don't really like episodic approach either but the first episode is expected to be 4-5 of gameplay that is not that bad considering basic pledge is only $10AUD, about half the usual starting kickstarter pledge for about half of the game.

"Will you be getting a Steam Machine any time after release?" Definitely not a desktop, but considering how hard is to find a good economical laptop without windows preinstalled a steamlaptop could definitely be an option.

How Steam Computes Linux Sales
10 Dec 2014 at 3:19 pm UTC
Another obscure point is: how a sale from a 3rd-party site is counted, if counted at all? It would be hilarious if my purchase of Borderland 2 from gameagent (Aspyr) counted as a Windows/Mac sale! (bought weeks ago and not played it yet)... although I guess in this case money count more than stats and 100% of my money went to Aspyr without Valve cut :)

Quoting: dubigrasuIf a non Linux game can have Linux sales the platform of purchase must count, I can't see any other way to explain this. Humble Bundle does the same (Windows games can have Linux sales except that the user specifies the platform instead of being assigned automatically).Quoting: liamdaweIf it's a Windows game, and you never play it, but it was purchased on another platform, it would default to Windows.Still curious why Gran PC said they have several Linux sales for Stanley Parable.
Same with a Windows game purchased on Linux and played in Wine. It will probably be a Windows purchase.
