That's good news actually. I haven't played WoW in a while, but this site was a good source of addons.
Since WoW runs perfectly with Lutris+Wine-GE, the circle is complete I guess :D
A command line tool would be neat too, to update the addons just before launching the game, like eso-addons [External Link] does for The Elder Scrolls Online.

I never thought Linux enthusiasts could ever use iOS. Aren't those two OSes polar opposites in terms of philosophy ? Total freedom VS no freedom (unless jailbreak of course).
Don't get me wrong, I can totally understand the appeal of IPhones for most users, but someone who likes to tinker, install whatever he/she wants ?
Still, good news for those users ! I've had quite a few problems with KDE Connect though, mainly the useful "make the phone ring" when you can't find it : if your phone session is locked (which will always be the case if you use that feature) you have to kill the app in the app manager to make the sound stop.

Game manager Lutris continues Flatpak improvements

Joke aside, great news ! More flexibility when it comes to packaging is always good news. With all the recent updates and new stores supported, Lutris is becoming quite a gem. Maybe someday, we won't have to install 10000 different launchers and just keep this one ?

Quoting: propertyI'd love to see the Flatpak version of Lutris. I think Lutris is next to Steam the most important piece of software for many Linux gamers. No ! Long live PPA+DEB
Having a Flatpak version finally removes some of the hassle of setting it up for new penguins and SteamDeck users 🐧.
So thanks to everybody contributing their time or money into this project. :)

Apart from the Steam deck, is there any advantage from Flatpak packaging VS debian packages ?

Proton 7.0 out with Easy Anti-Cheat improvements, more games for Linux & Steam Deck

Tested it, most of my games still work great, including Star Wars Squadrons!
Only downside, Elder Scrolls Online seems to be running noticeably slower, so it's not all good. May be related to a cache not refreshed or something like that. I rollbacked it on Proton 6.3 for now (good thing you can have several versions installed!).

Valheim is great (though I agree on death making you lose hours of XP grinding is a chore).
Only thing that bothers me is the really slow rhythm of updates. I mean, it's nice, stable, and well balanced, but when you see the list of the *new* things we got since the initial release, it's a bit thin. Of course, there's also the possibiliy of a billion hidden features awaiting to be tested enough to make it to release, but somehow I doubt it.
