How well does this entry engage with communities and groups under-represented (e.g, women, non-binary, gender queer, or gender non-conforming) in the FOSS Community?
smh
Why? It's one of three "secondary considerations".
Because it even is a consideration.

Last I checked I did neither need my genitals nor my sexuality to program. This is a politically motivated power grab and only brings division and drama, not better code. Equality starts when you do not differentiate. Now they have to ask for gender and divide the projects into those categories.

But the fact it's under secondary gives me a bit of hope this cancer will soon die off.

Quoting: razing32Do you need the Battle pass to play the missions or is that just for the cosmetics?
You do not need to pass to play, as stated in the article.
maybe you can add that, very important, bit of information in the beginning.
you start with
I will admit, after dropping an update last night with a big new Operation for Counter-Strike: Global Offensive I was a little sceptical with the Battle Pass system.
Which seems to imply Battle Pass is needed.

Only at the 2nd last Paragraph is it stated:
Honestly, I hope we see a lot more of this. It's a shame these special co-op missions are limited for the Operation, keeping them in and gradually adding more to build up a big co-op campaign could really expand the possibilities of CS:GO. It's nice to see the Battle Pass is not required to play them though, only earn the extra rewards. A nice touch at least.

Terminx said:"if you're trying to decide your child is trans at birth you have mental problems and probably shouldn't be a parent imo".

Not only is this clearly labeled as an opinion I also think it is a very sensible one.
This transphile has gone too far, kids are asked about it before they really know who they are. There are kids which receive hormone treatment because their parents think they are trans.
IMO this causes more harm then good: 'real' trans people (sadly) have a high suicide rate of > 40%, with or without treatment!

As for the devs caving in, censoring their staff and changing the game because some people got 'offended':

get woke, go broke!

Just say something along the lines of "This is an opinion of one of our employees. We cannot and will not control their opinions and thus have no comment on the matter."

The developer of Gloomhaven wants to see what kind of demand there is for Linux support

I think they are only trying to get some more ppl to buy during early access.
We didn't make any tests to confirm it for 100% though
Because firing up a VM and trying it is too much?

Just played 'Human Fall Flat' this weekend to find out they dropped Linux support. Same talk:
Unfortunately we've made the decision to discontinue Linux support so we can focus on new content and features for Windows and Mac versions.
here:
We are focussing on one platform, for now, to make the whole development process more manageable.
