Double Fine Productions acquired by Microsoft for Xbox Game Studios, Psychonauts 2 still for Linux

Honesty not surprised Tim Shaffer has proven time and time again he cannot manage money why broken age took ages to be a complete game because he spent all the money on the first part and had to get financing to finish up the project. So him going with a company with the size and resources of MS and taking his company with him from a purely business point of view makes sense. I would not trust fig given fig requires no demos or proof that a project exsists before you can back a project.

The dev of "Marble It Up!" had intriguing words to say about the native vs Steam Play argument for a Linux version

For Proton it has changed the way i game on linux I play most of my back library i had when i dual booted where possible I buy native. As for game updates etc breaking the proton version does not effect me as its multiplayer games that generally have issues as others have said and my days of multi player gaming are long behind me. So if a an update breaks the game for me I ll either try and fix it myself or have a cruise round lutris forums along with linuxgaming guide till i find a work around.

Right. And since windows bloatware is included in the package why not installing windows too? I've heard that the last iteration is very stable and performing plus it's supported by virtually every PC game out there.
Sorry you are comparing lutris to windows because ?

Yes. It should be for a Borderlands2 DLC that supposedly bridges the game to Borderlands 3 and rumors say it will be released soon. Ofc for us penguineers it will only bridge the game to disappointment.

Quoting: g000hPersonally I have a massive backlog of RTS games (including previous Feral titles) which I haven't even touched yet, and it isn't a genre that really grabs me. I'm holding off making a purchase for now.
Same for me (different genre).

...that makes me think: too much games for not so many (Linux) users?
Is the Linux game market inflated?
I would say no because for me personally I have played and finished the games am interested in but if we are talking native you could play that library if we are talking just this year very comfortably however if you mean non native proton and wine then yeah there are ton of games to play through. I also think part of the problem is price not the case this time for tw 3 kingdoms as it was day 1 and tons more of that please fereal. But generally when a game hits linux its after its been under a tenner on steam for windows or in tomb raiders case rise of the tomb raider was literally 3.99 the week before it dropped on linux for 33.99 here in the uk

SCUM, a very exciting sounding open-world survival game should come to Linux
