I preordered this game directly from Unigine when I read about it coming out on Ubuntu Gamer. If that doesn't date me I'm not sure what will. How things have changed...

All we have to do is use the in-game invite system.
Edit 2: You can sometimes get the "Locating fresh supplies..." timeout when joining them but the next time will work. (Just have them re-invite you or attempt to rejoin your previous session if the game gives you that option).
Edit: While I would love a PvE mode in SoT...it just wouldn't be SoT then. Nothing can describe the rush that this game gives me and that's largely due to the ever present danger. Sometimes I do want to relax however, and Sea of Thieves is NOT a game for that if I want to do well.

Quoting: The_LuxAnd I haven't found a way (yet) to play with my Windows Friends (Windows Game Store), if there is no one who plays the bridge between Steam (Windows) and Windows Game Store.Wait what? I play with my brother all the time. He plays the MS Store version on Windows.

Age of Empires IV should also work with this version given the updates to vkd3d-proton (at least on AMD/Nvidia).

Quoting: ScrumplexFor those who are not aware: PipeWire screensharing was probably disabled by default, as everytime Steam started, it asked which screen to share. As there is currently no way to have it remember the user's choice it was probably disabled for now.Yep. This is likely exactly why they DISABLED it by default. It was rather annoying to be prompted every single time.

Not my game but it does seem that Ark is artificially being limited graphically on Stadia.
