Somewhat relatedly, although not gaming-focused, there's also the 30C3 [External Link] taking place in Hamburg, Germany from December 27th to 30th, 2013.
Talk schedules aren't posted yet, but it's the big annual hacker / FLOSS / security conference in Germany.
EDIT: Videos from last year can be found here, in English [External Link] and here, in German [External Link].

Yeah, it only installs the extras for me. Soundtrack, manual, wallpapers, that sort of thing.
Still, I'm not complaining. I got the game for free, through backing at a level of Torment: Tides of Numenera that'll get me Wasteland 2. :)

I'm sorry to say, but you're far too late for Oceania, which failed to reach its goal 4 hours ago.
EDIT: They do have some weird pre-order on their website though...
EDIT2: Hmm, wonky English, weird pre-order scheme, no information at all on who those people are and Russian-only forums... :/

I don't want any of that! When I say close, I want Steam to exit, like I expect any normally functioning program to do!
Trilobyte Games Announces The 7th Guest: 3 On Kickstarter

Keep in mind though that Linux version of The 7th Guest on Steam uses ScummVM, while The 11th Hour is not supported in ScummVM (*) and also has no Linux support on Steam.
Make of that what you will.
Me, I'm hoping for their Kickstarter to succeed though. I always loved ham-tastic FMV games. :)
*) Thanks to the unfortunately very common phenomenon of devs lacking time
