Get more than 50k per month (if you have to rent) and you're in the middle... of course this numbers will vary depending on the city where you live, if you have kids, etc.

If I compare the price of the game with any other social activity, I really don't see how it can be expensive. If the point is "there are cheaper ways", then I can also say "you can go a pirate the game and make it free too".

I'm not an expert on graphics API, but I know for sure that many ports normally try to wrap Dx into OGL which I'm confident that ends up creating a overhead and a performance hit. With this said, I'm not that sure if that advantage over optimization is on driver side (IMO, everything points towards to a game engine optimization for DX).

I agree about port performance issue but regarding OpenGL driver performance I completely disagree. OGL Mesa implementation is quite good, it even kick the ass of OGL proprietary Windows implementations. In fact, I think that radeonsi showed better performance than the Nvidia driver lately (check latest phoronix benchs).

Regarding the price, I spent more than that just for Valentines day dinner so it's definitely something that any middle class citizen is able to pay if he wants. Not to mention that is, at least for myself, very good price for a native version (in fact, I'll probably pay the full price if the native version gets released).

Maybe an IA can detect a toxic player too

Valve is already using one. The problem is that AI requires training and will always have false positive detection's (but to be fair, humans do have them as well), so I doubt that it will eventually get to be the unique security measure to be used.
