People will really piss off for having such a huge number of stores in order to have their games. All this stupidity will just benefit console gaming in the end...

- The internet will collapse under the huge bandwidth requirements.
...
Well, 20 years ago our current bandwidth usage would have made collapse internet. It's all about investing in better infrastructure in the end.

I definitely think that gaming streaming will be the future for, at least, all the console gaming and probably all competitive gaming.

Feral Interactive are teasing another Linux port

Ok, I'm late for theory play but many of you here have come with great guesses. Lets see if I can summarize them:
  • Darksiders III: Don't know a lot of this one, but seems to be plausible based on the rooftop mural thematic

  • DIRT 2: Fits with the phrase but I'm not sure how it relates with the Pegasus and the son of Poseidon (by the way, nice finding silentprocyon!)

  • Bioshock 1 or 2: doubt is this one as they have been already ported to OSX

  • AC Odyssey: fits for the Pegasus and Greek character over it

  • Skyrim: Quite probable if it wasn't for Fallout 76 disaster

  • Hitman 2: Has sense due to old partnership of Feral but I'm not sure how it relates with the clue...

  • Shadow of War: same as Hitman 2... or maybe a little better related if you say that the Pegasus looks like a Caragor

  • Batman [a-zA-z]*: already have OSX port

  • Cyberpunk 2077: Could be but it would be the first game to published on GoG if so. Probably this last thing makes it no plausible as Feral like to have their own store (something that won't be possible with GoG)

Maybe the clue it's not about the mural or the phrase but with the location... just saying.

Quoting: MohandevirThe Cave might not be as underated as you define it but, imo, it deserves an honourable mention and it's 80% off. :)

Thanks for the input, I was on the fence about Vaporum. I will probably buy it.
Wow, looks really nice. I may grab this one I think.

Quoting: ziabiceI'm very curious: anyone here has experienced running WINE on Android and ARM processor? Yes, I'm thinking about running games on my smartphone.
Unless you emulates a x86 cpu in your cellphone, you can't.
VM? :woot:
Yes and no. The VM software we commonly use to virtualize a system (e.g. VMware or VirtualBox) doesn't emulates a new CPU instructions set, they just use what your cpu is capable of offer. For this case, he will have to use QEMU, but performance will be very poor.

To Mesa users: beware that Black Mesa it's not working right now. Looks like they have some kind of memory leak (probably related with shaders) that ends up depleting the process available memory in little to no time of playing (it's 32bit process, so whenever it tries to use more than 3GB of ram, the game crashes). For Nvidia users it should work fine though.

To celebrate Half-Life turning 20, Black Mesa released a trailer for Xen

Quoting: mirohmm indeed that does not look like Xen, it has (men-made?) structures - afaik the original Xen from HL1 is not built this way.
I think that they took a little of inspiration from Doom, where you had scientific outpost in hell. I like it and I'm willing to play it whenever it's complete :D

Quoting: Comandante ÑoñardoThat depends of your concept about what is an AAA game.
For me, games without Spanish voice overs are not AAA, and it doesn't matter how famous the franchise is.
This is an indie game for me... The same goes for The Witcher franchise.

Anyway! For tastes, the colours.
Really? Total War indie games? It's not about taste, the AAA category it's about how much you invest to make the game. Of course, that doesn't implies that it will be an excellent game, but still on this case means that a game that has a big player base is getting a native version in our system. And that my friend is one of the pillar base in order to make Linux a gaming platform.
Ha, AAA games as a definition has always been a moving target. Is it popularity? Call of Duty is considered very popular and AAA, but it's not something that I obsess with. Quality? Probably not. Large production? Yup, that's usually what it means. The Witcher definitely is.
If TW Warhammer 2 is not a AAA then Fallout 76 is not a AAA, FIFA 19 is not AAA, Hitman 2 is not a AAA and even Shadow of the Tomb Raider should not be considered AAA... I mean, feels like you don't consider a game a large production if it's using the same engine as the previous version.

Either case, Total War franchise is one of the big franchise that are out there, with a big player base and a lot of work in production in the content of each release so it should be something to be proud to be able to have on Linux. Sorry, but no one can argue against this.
