I looking forward to see RDNA2 results now. They should have 50% more perf/W and the CUs having 25% more performance at the same clock while using the 7nm+ from TSMC should give then enough horsepower to fight this cards.
The only thing that we dont have any ideia on how they compare is RT. Nvidia really step up their game here

IIRC i heard of this game before because it was made in Rust and made some headlines in Reddit because Rust programmers never miss a chance to talk about Rust.
But being a programmer, i never could finish a programming game. I always lose interest. I tried Human Resource Machine, While True: Learn, Screeps, Shenzen I/O, TIS-100 and others but not one of then i played for more than 2 hours. I really dont know why.
Games about logic i tend to like more than programming games

Quoting: ShmerlNo Vulkan support. But the way xCloud was created is to make Xbox One games run on the cloud. The developer dont have to port a new version but use the Xbox version to minimize costs. It wont force DX more than Xbox doQuoting: WJMazepas]xCloud is in the same market of Stadia, but with a different aproach and they still didnt launch officially, its on beta, and they are still promotingI wish them quick and bitter demise. We don't need more junk that requires developers to use DX. Unless of course they'll allow using Vulkan there too? But judging by their Xbox management, they won't.

One game that i recommend on this sale is Elderborn [External Link]. Its a First Person Meele combat with souls-like elements and its really fun. The only problem is that its not too long, i finished in a little less than 4 hours. Still i had lots of fun and will beat the game again.

Quoting: ShmerlMixer and xCloud are different markets. Mixer was a concorrent to Twitch and Youtube Live and never got much audience, even with that Ninja and Shroud exclusivity deals.Quoting: LeopardThey closed their Twitch variant , Mixer.MS have probably freaked out that Stadia would tip the scales and reduce their DX domination. But if not now, then it would go bust later.

Quoting: ArehandoroFrom a very ignorant point of view. Why start VKD3D-Proton instead of expanding VXDK to use D12 too? Is the difference in APIs between D11 and D12 so big that a different project needs to implemented?Yep. Thats why D9VK is different than DXVK and VKD3D its separeted also. DX10 and DX11 are very close to eachother, DX12 its a totally different API with different aproach to graphics.
FOSS Linux game launcher 'Lutris' has a new bug-fix release out

I believe that this is possible, fork a version of it and use with Lutris.

Quoting: MohandevirThere already is a EmulationStation for PC.Quoting: seanbutnotheardBecause I use Retropie/Recalbox on mon Rpi2... It's based on EmulationStation... Couldn't there be a way to fork it for desktop use? Like in showing the different store fronts/launchers instead of emulators? Just my two cents, even if I would like, I have no skills in the matter.Quoting: MohandevirWhat I would like to see is a "complete DE" based on a fullscreen gamepad controlled Lutris UI, for sofa gaming. A Lutris based SteamOS (BPM) concept. Probably an unrealistically huge undertaking for the Lutris team, but it would be awesome nonetheless. There might be a way to use GameHub for this, as it can be controller-driven. Not exactly the prettiest big-picture interface, and it lacks some of Lutris's nice under-the-hood features such as managing multiple Wine versions, but it does integrate with Steam/Gog/Humble and can be configured to launch emulators.
"One launcher to rule them all".
Edit: It's just a wish I have... Else, keep doing your awesome work, making gaming on Linux easier.
Another approach might be for someone (more talented than I) to write a plugin for an existing frontend (like Kodi, etc) that integrates with Lutris's underlying functionality.
Sorry... Just brainstorming, here.
