The game itself is great, with storytelling as its obvious strong suit from the get go.
With my HD 6670, I get 30 - 40 FPS on 1600x900 resolution and high details. That's in the green area for me, but plain sucks considered the theoretical requirements of the game on Windows.
But the worst thing is the severe lagging and freezing during the more fast paced sequences. With 1GB GDDR this shouldn't be an issue at all let alone render the game nearly unplayable.
Overall, for the 4 bucks the game is a steal, provided that the technical issues of the wrapper are sorted out sooner rather than later.
Up to now eOn doesn't play as bad as The Witcher 2 was at the beginning but sadly not that much better either.

Why Are We Still Dual Booting?

I stopped dual booting when Windows XP ultimately died.
Windows only games were barely worth the reboots and I sure as hell wouldn't buy a new Windows version because of them.
So here's what I think would be an interesting question for the survey:
"Do you see yourself buying a new Windows version if your current one reaches EOL?"
Because I think double booting in 99% of cases is just switching to Linux in slow motion. Or am I generalizing my own experience too much?

Oh crap, beware the zealots. I learned that from the "Linux is too hard for Joe Sixpack" debates.
How about telling the executive that we're not talking about short term "get rich" strategies here but about a get-as-platform-agnostic-as-you-can-and-profit-in-the-long-run investment?
But then, the zealots.

Steam Now Has Official Hardware Pages On Its Store (UPDATED)

I agree that the prices aren't that bad compared to consoles if you take the prices of games on the different platforms into consideration.
I doubt however that that's an easy point to get across in marketing. "Look, in 3 years it might turn out to be a good deal" isn't exactly an impressive selling point.
Some, like the Syber ones, make sense and look as if someone genuinely put thought and effort into it.
Others make me think they are just some half arsed alibi, mainly to make Steam shut up and leave the vendors alone about the topic.

KDE is like Minecraft, learn "recipes" and build whatever you want.
In form my desktop resembles Unity a lot but in functionality every comparison is ridiculous.
There is a learning curve attached to it of course, not everyone has time for that, but if you're an enthusiast who rather builds his own PC instead of just buying some Dell machine why not extend the fun to your DE?

ROCCAT Ryos MK Pro Mechanical Gaming Keyboard, Reviewed

The Roccat Ryos is a nice keyboard but a bit too overloaded in its design for my taste.
So the Corsair Vengeance K70 it was for me, the old one.
Plug'n play, wrist rest, USB passthrough, media keys including a volume wheel and the most beautiful keyboard on the market if you ask me. I don't like the new K70 RGB however. In my book it's at least 3 steps backwards.

I really look forward to it.
Divine Divinity was hugely underrated, one of the best games I've ever played.
The second, Beyond Divinity was awful, boring grinding ad nauseam, you know, the kind that feels like work after a while.
Third parts have a bad reputation but I just hope they managed to reproduce the fun of the first part.

It looks silly, agreed, but I can barely wait to play a space shooter with it.
I have enough self-restraint to wait for the consumer version, but that's about it.
