Update 2: The dev fixed that bug yesterday on the beta channel (Steam) and in an upcoming patch to stable. Excellent

This looks amazing. I'd be surprised if this isn't a massive seller and the dev deserves it!

Thought I'd post an update. Great game and you can even play pool and snooker in the club house!
Hit a bug straight away where the character can't be edited as the game locks hard but posted a bug report and the dev responded immediately. He's very responsive and involved in their community, which is really nice.

Mine's already at 16777216. Can't remember why that figure exactly though, probably after reading something Proton related previously.
Edit: I added it a year ago, from <https://www.phoronix.com/news/Fedora-39-VM-Max-Map-Count>.

As for the theromostat, I think I'll replace it with a LAN only solution.

Quoting: grigi....On the cheaper end of that is Reolink/Dahua and my Reolink cameras are working great. But it's a pain that everyone is pushing for cloud-first these days.I'll check those cams out, thanks for the heads up.
!Grumpy-emoji!

I have a few cheap IP cams from a few years ago that I use as security cams and record constantly to my server via RTSP. Trying to buy such cams now is near impossible as they all use an app and record to the cloud via subscription. No thanks.
Sorry for the "off topic", as regards Ross'(s?) issue, I'm all for the refund idea (Catkiller) or an outright ban on singleplayer online access required.

Quoting: PenglingHonestly, I don't understand what a person could possibly get out of connecting appliances to the internet... :huh:Exactly my thoughts but it gets worse... we had a new boiler installed and only after the fact I became acutely aware of this problem. To program or alter the time clock for MY boiler in MY home I have to have an online registration with Bosch and allow the thermostat on MY wall in MY hallway to connect to Bosch's server online! Where's the furious emoji?

I've bought very few games in the last few years simply because of my backlog but this is going to be a gem and a must have!
One thing I like about the first game is you can just pick it up for a quick game as well as get sucked in.

Quoting: CorbenThanks for the detailed explanation :smile:Quoting: fabertaweThanks. But that begs the question - when can't you play seated? Do you have an example?I guess "can't play seated" refers to if it's enjoyable.....All in all, technically you can play all those VR games seated, but those meant for room scale would just be less enjoyable as some aspects of the game would require more movemnt.

Quoting: FauconNoirThanks. But that begs the question - when can't you play seated? Do you have an example?Quoting: fabertaweI've zero experience with VR, so can it be used sitting? As in, I have a physical disability and couldn't stand for long and would almost certainly lose my balance and crash into something! Most of the time, you can play sitted.
