It just keeps getting worse - Firefox to "evolve into a modern AI browser"

Every time someone mentions declining market share and uses that as a reason to introduce something horrible into Firefox, I (figuratively) bang my head on the wall. They have an audience – users that care about privacy, customizability and being different than Chrome. And they do everything they can to drive them away in favour of some imaginary Chrome users that can be convinced to switch over to a Chrome-copy and has the technical knowledge to make the switch. That does not make sense.

They will always be the nerd that imitates the popular jock and ends up alienating everyone.

Oh well. I've never used it – because I don't think the look fits the Quake 2 visuals, but it's a shame for those that like and use it.

I think that survivors-likes is a good idea. And there is already a subreddit with that name.

Wow. 8000 participants in a survey. Amazing. That should be the definite answer to the question for all times. 😀

I've stopped doing Z in a video that does Z, you are asking for whatever you get.
This is the weirdest part. I still say that everything that they did before was probably AI art, but some of the things might be up for debate.

And then they went on and delivered a supposed proof that is definitely AI. I can't get my head around it. Are they that naive to think that the “speed painting” video would believable?

According to Epic CEO Tim Sweeney - game stores don't need an AI label as it will be everywhere

I've encountered a different type tedious checking for something that is supposed to be quicker yesterday. A big store with an app to speed up the checkout process. The group in front of me had three shopping carts and according to the app 62 items. The verification process only entails checking the number of items. They had 64 – so a very winded comparison was started. No one can tell me that scanning the bar codes of every item would take longer.

It's good that he clarifies that game stores need an AI label. Or are there people that don't read what he writes and turn everything into the opposite?
