I don't think the update issue is a thing anymore, but communication is something that GOG does not do at all. The best you can except is a “we're sorry that you have misunderstood us” after one of their regular mishaps.

GOG is clearly going the way of Galaxy integration is mandatory (for the developers), even if the users are supposed to be able to run the games without it. Recently there has been a completely botched Two Point Hospital release (Windows only) that had critical bugs caused by third-party work on Galaxy bindings.

The only thing I considered buying since the SNES was discontinued was one of those classic re-release consoles, but the insanity presented by the scalpers soon made me reconsider.

Inspired by F.E.A.R., the retro FPS 'Selaco' is getting a big demo upgrade

If you want something to look like FEAR, everything has to be concrete. Followed by concrete and concrete. And a bit of cardboard. FEAR's visuals are very limited.

I'm not sure if I will play Selaco on the Steam Deck – my experiments with Hands of Necromancy weren't that successful, but more options are good. I'm currently trying Binary Domain and I'm struggling with aiming switching between the stick and the track pad. Mouse aiming is a lot easier (although Binary Domain is famous for a horrible hard-wired mouse acceleration).

Quoting: fagnerlnI didn't see any similarity to FEAR, maybe it's more noticeable when playing.
From playing the previous Demo, its mostly the enemy behaviour that's inspired by FEAR. The enemies react to your flashlight, the light level of the room and they try to flank you.

Does anyone know how why the wrong language video was played in Spyro Reignited? The bug sounds interesting, but I'm too tired to look through the changes.

Quoting: hardpenguinYou do realize that locally installable games are here to stay regardless of the cloud gaming success?
Like store-independent game patches that you can install when you want? Or mobile phones that can actually be used to make a phone call. Antibiotics/pain killers/other important drugs that can be produced in the EU.

Everything more or less a thing of the past because someone wanted to make a quick buck.
