I've never been subscribed to Humble Choice because I don't like subscription model stuff and the selection of games mostly seem too random for me.

As a side note, fairly frequently I own a game already and usually I hand the keys out to my buddies but is there any kind of GamingOnLinux giveaway I could pass them onto?

There were some inofficial giveaways when the Forum and PM functionality were still available.

I was not very confident that they knew what they are doing before and I count that as a double confirmation (breaking the default setup and recommending the forbidden/stupid thing AKA hotfix branch).

My policy is: I only buy a game that once had Denuvo after it has been removed and is on very heavy discount (less than 4€). I don't want to be punished for being a customer. There are so many other games…

Edit: I don't think that Developers are free to make the decisions. From the things I have read the driving force behind Denuvo seems to be the stock market.

I don't think there is a Linux version of a game that uses GodotSteam on GOG, since they all seem to use GOG's wrapper that has no Linux version.

If you need knowledge of the implementation of the Lua runtime to optimise the solutions that does not sound like a lot of fun.

I had assumed that the inevitable question would be about ntsync. There have been bug fixes and this week a refactor that might help with maintenance in the future was proposed.

The third thing to consider is mentioned at the top of the article. The GOG version has no multiplayer and also no SnapMap.

I'm not sure what the other documentation (e.g. the wiki) states at the current time, but when I last checked which is probably two digit number of years ago – it explicitly told you to check the PKGBUILD files.
