You know how we have a bunch of different types of science fiction space games? We have 4x strategy games, shooters, space ship simulators and a lot more. Well, Salvation Prophecy is a game that tries to be everything at the same time.

Pixel Piracy is a game we have been following for some-time now, we first posted about it back in July of last year the day before my birthday in fact! It's changed a lot since then and is simply fantastic. We also have keys to give-away!

Planetary Annihilation is the crazy real time strategy game about planetary conquest on a massive scale. The game is thankfully native on Linux and has a new update to show off, it's all very social.

It seems like we are getting quite a few old gems nowadays, although this is most likely using Dosbox it's still nice to be able to have sales for it counted for Linux.

Starsector previously known as Starfarer is a game I have been following since early 2011 and I am glad to say it's still being fully worked on. Starsector is an open-world single-player space-combat, roleplaying, exploration and economic game.

As promised by our editor Cheeseness the current guys in charge of Nuclear Dawn have released version 7.1 which brings Linux out of beta and with it the ability to play with Mac and Windows users now too.
