Looks cute, and the maps seem to be pretty fun. However, the combat shown in the trailer looks like it would test my patience more than my skill. Going from the trailer it seems really awkward and hard to judge. But we'll see what actual players say, I guess.

Not sure the pixel look is really helping them out here. I full-screened the video and thanks to that there were moments I couldn't even tell what was going on. Maybe because there's too much detail for the "retro" filters to make sense.

I think my trouble with Fugl is that the pixel-y art style makes everything look slightly out of focus, when it really isn't. I find that disconcerting.

It's...an okay game. While I appreciate what it tries to do, and there are some really good ideas in there, but when I played it at least they weren't developed enough to really make them work.

Fine for a free game, I suppose.
