I played and replayed these ones on the deck with much satisfaction, in no particular order:
That and the F2P Magic The Gathering Arena via Heroic (Epic). It's probably my most played game on the deck!
- Horizon Chase [External Link] - A sweet driving arcade game perfect for a coffee break and soon to have an update.
- Cloudpunk [External Link] - had previously bought and refunded due to Nvidia issues. Perfect on deck. Cool music and ambiance.
- Queen's Wish [External Link] - An new but old school rpg. Had to remap some keys for a more pleasurable windows scrolling, but otherwise good experience with trackpads as mouse
- Carto [External Link] - Charming puzzle game. Good in multiple runs.
- Lara croft go [External Link] - An unexpected favorite. Puzzle game on rails, that looks mobile first but looks great on both deck and big screen.
- into the breach [External Link] - Recently updated and good use of battery on the deck, from the maker of FTL.
- heaven's vault [External Link] - Got it on humble choice and I intend to finish this adventure game.
- The Darkside Detective [External Link] - Small point and click adventures with witty dialogue.
- Children of Morta [External Link] - Good action roguelike for a break.
- 112 operator [External Link]- Got it on humble and was another unexpected instant favorite. Some UI buttons are a bit tiny (the less important ones) but otherwise good using trackpads as mouse. Never though acting as an emergency responder and dispatching units through out MY neighborhood was so fun! It can use geolocalization and a real map so you start the game on your home city.

Maybe one important remark is that all those "gamepad UI" entries are related to the Steam Deck's SteamOS3 UI, which can be toggled on via a "session switcher script" if you're not running NVIDIA.
Steam Deck Plugin Loader gets another release, should work better now

Quoting: OrdiciNot a developer, but what would you guys want to see as a plugin? Some ideas:
- simple notepad like notebook / text reader (for FAQ/walkthroughs)
- Dice roller (to play RPG games in videochat app like discord without having to open a text channel just to roll something)
- low fat browser pointing to game wiki page
Steam Deck gets a bunch more Keyboard tweaks

Quoting: CybolicFully game-themeable is another option, but that's probably overkill.Keyboard themes can be bought using the Steam Points shop. Steam points also serve to buy backgrounds, emotes and avatars by game. So indeed it might be feasible for each game to create a custom full theme and sell it in the near future. (hopefully)

Interesting, I never played any of their games but I definatively like the style.
Also, checking the other games by that dev/publisher they applied that "Ready for the Steam Deck!" treatment for their other games too (links to the patch notes):
- Seers Isle [External Link]
- Across the Grooves [External Link]
Both with the same notes:

Both with the same notes:

- Various bug fixes.

I love playing The Elder Scrolls Online on my TV via Stadia so this will be a no brainer for me once I get a hand on one of those decks (less loading times, no constant updatings, full gamepad controls, not wasting ~70gb for it).

Interestingly, like the other time, there is more stuff than just videogames: including game assets and pen and paper roleplaying games.
There an odd one I've been on the fence for months: Delve [External Link] which seems to be kind of a draw-it-yourself Dwarf Fortress solo game.

Quoting: GuestDo you suggest to play XCOM1 or XCOM2 to someone with not much free time? One other point, is that if you played (and enjoyed) the original XCOM UFO Defense / Enemy Unknown, the new XCOM1 has a few nods to the original one and therefore it is nice to see the design considerations whenever a new enemy (always different in some way) is introduced. So from that (meta) perspective XCOM1 is a joy to play, even though the 2nd is more mature.
Thanks!
Game devs don't seem convinced on the Steam Deck from the GDC 2022 survey

The bias here, is trying to figure out how many devs got it, and posted no evidence online!

Quoting: ArtenThing here is those devs didn't buy any. The units simply poped up in their mailbox, courtesy of Valve Inc.The Steam Deck is interesting, as any developer / publisher we've seen actually receive a devkit unit has been practically universally praising the device. Seeing is truly believing then. It's called selection bias. Only developers interested in steamdeck try to get one and so they are more likely prise it. Ones who are more likely criticize it don't want it, so they don't have one.
I expect great device, but but this survey shows that our view can be influenced by the fact that we hear only positive news.
