For what is worth, it's not the first time Renpy is used to write a bible book on. For example, here is "A Visual Gospel of Matthew" [External Link] made in Indonesia. But it never reached steam (it was even before Steam Greenlight I think). Though it seems much more "gamey".

Specially with the Steam Deck. On the deck my epic controls are mouse & keyboard to go straight to MTG. II also tried itch.io via Epic, but I have resizing issues that could never solve... but first.. there is a Steam backlog to clear! (famous last words).
Even old games, I prefer to launch them via Steam + Luxtorpeda (ex: OpenXCOM)

Quoting: slaapliedjeCurious what people have more luck with, Lutris or Heroic Game Launcher? I seem to have far more luck getting things 'to just work' with Lutris.Almost the same. While I have GOG and Epic libraries working on linux, with the exception of the F2P "Magic The Gathering Arena" and "Warframe" I see that I'm hardly playing any other game there.

It's kind of an old one but the western stick-man game West of Loathing [External Link] looks and plays great on the deck.

What are your current favourite games on Steam Deck?- I was impressed how playable Stellaris actually is (at least first game stages). Saw Corben streaming it and had to scratch it out from my backlog. I also tried a 720p UI mod in the Steam Workshop but crashes my game every time :(

Indeed Everspace works very good, even with a small UI. The roguelike nature of it + controls makes its particularly suited for the deck. Before I played on the Razer Kishi + phone + cloud but there was too small and without gyro made it harder to play.

Quoting: iiariAlso very late reply... sorry.Quoting: nullzeroOn the Deck: Master Spy, into the beach and Everspace.I bet Everspace has to be great on the Deck...
And regarding the top 10 list, still very impressed NMS is still there. What a comeback story.

Finished The Shapeshifting Detective. And I'm (finally) playing Valheim.
On the Deck: Master Spy, into the beach and Everspace.
Oh and most of all... cyberpunk... On stadia...Could not resist the hype to go back to it. But now I have to finish before end of the year as my character will be permanently flatlined .

I played and replayed these ones on the deck with much satisfaction, in no particular order:
That and the F2P Magic The Gathering Arena via Heroic (Epic). It's probably my most played game on the deck!
- Horizon Chase [External Link] - A sweet driving arcade game perfect for a coffee break and soon to have an update.
- Cloudpunk [External Link] - had previously bought and refunded due to Nvidia issues. Perfect on deck. Cool music and ambiance.
- Queen's Wish [External Link] - An new but old school rpg. Had to remap some keys for a more pleasurable windows scrolling, but otherwise good experience with trackpads as mouse
- Carto [External Link] - Charming puzzle game. Good in multiple runs.
- Lara croft go [External Link] - An unexpected favorite. Puzzle game on rails, that looks mobile first but looks great on both deck and big screen.
- into the breach [External Link] - Recently updated and good use of battery on the deck, from the maker of FTL.
- heaven's vault [External Link] - Got it on humble choice and I intend to finish this adventure game.
- The Darkside Detective [External Link] - Small point and click adventures with witty dialogue.
- Children of Morta [External Link] - Good action roguelike for a break.
- 112 operator [External Link]- Got it on humble and was another unexpected instant favorite. Some UI buttons are a bit tiny (the less important ones) but otherwise good using trackpads as mouse. Never though acting as an emergency responder and dispatching units through out MY neighborhood was so fun! It can use geolocalization and a real map so you start the game on your home city.

Maybe one important remark is that all those "gamepad UI" entries are related to the Steam Deck's SteamOS3 UI, which can be toggled on via a "session switcher script" if you're not running NVIDIA.
Steam Deck Plugin Loader gets another release, should work better now

Quoting: OrdiciNot a developer, but what would you guys want to see as a plugin? Some ideas:
- simple notepad like notebook / text reader (for FAQ/walkthroughs)
- Dice roller (to play RPG games in videochat app like discord without having to open a text channel just to roll something)
- low fat browser pointing to game wiki page
