What does hand-drawn even mean anymore, especially when it comes to a digital medium? A wacom tablet and stylus? Not using premade clip art/models? 2D drawn models?
It’s not like they’re drawing animations on paper, even then they’d be scanning in the result. When is art not hand-drawn?

If you love retro shooters, Kingdom of the Dead is another solid choice and runs great with WINE/Proton.

Steam Deck back to being the global top seller (by revenue) on Steam

Is it really fair that they mix $500+ hardware sales with software sales and then compare?
This is meaningless. The Valve Index is listed as a top seller but it also costs $1000. Of course it’s bringing in money.

Quoting: PenglingTrue and in the US Final Fantasy 4-6 used to be Final Fantasy 1-3, because the original Final Fantasy 1-3 was never released in the Americas. So it’s possible his Steam version is actually Final Fantasy 4, but I think that was corrected and the original Final Fantasy 1 got a crappy graphics update. The original experience (graphics and balancing) is perfect to me.Quoting: slaapliedjeAs I grew up on the Ultima series, and never really had a NES, I have not played any of the Final Fantasy games. Even during that era I had a Sega Master System, so Phantasy Star was what I played (though I never did finish it).If you're from a PAL region, Final Fantasy never came here until 7 anyway.

Finally bought all the FF games the other day on Steam and the first one has been remade and looks like a SNES game, so I suppose I'll have to start with that one, right?I’d start up a NES emulator and play the originals that way, IMO.

Quoting: TheSHEEEPNope it's not games, it's definitely how KDE handles multimonitors. When my computer sleeps then wakes again, it does not properly restore my desktop and monitors to their previous state. When it does on-the-off-chance restore my monitors correctly, the windows do not restore to their previous monitor. Why are monitors stitched together as one giant desktop? These issues extend from my older Gen 1 Sandybridge i7 all the way to my current gen laptop. This doesn't even touch the Wayland support. These issues aren't uncommon and the Plasma team acknowledge as much about widespread issues related to multimonitor support earlier in the year. They also indicated this year they would try to address these problems. The fact that I have to go into the `/etc/X11/...` config files at all is a sign that multimonitor support isn't there yet.Quoting: itscalledrealityEr…we’re halfway through the year and there’s very little about fixing multimonitor support, one of the biggest hurdles for those switching to Linux.Huh?
I don't think I ever had a problem with multiple monitors on Linux.
Some games do have issues with multiple monitors on Linux, but that's the games' fault, not really on Linux or any certain distro.

Er…we’re halfway through the year and there’s very little about fixing multimonitor support, one of the biggest hurdles for those switching to Linux. I’m hoping that suggested promise earlier in the year is actually met. The stitched-together giant desktop just doesn’t work well.
It’s great they learned about color detection so they can apply accent colors and other vanity features but who does that really help?

Amazing how a hardware release that the majority of people who ordered one (to date) still don’t own, causes developers to change their tune of “it can’t be done” to “now available on Linux with continued support”.
Because the truth is that pre-Steam Deck the real response was “it won’t be done, because market share”. But what changed about Linux marketshare? Surely Steam Deck is still a drop in the bucket.
