When are they going to fix the keyboard bug ?
Sometime it just stops working and u need to open the steam overlay in order to fix it. It’s nothing major and shouldn’t be complicated at I fix.

Not mutch for virus programs now adays not even in windows.
But back in the days I used virus scan software kaspersky was the virus software to use in my opinion. Then it got a bit too expensive after they bumped up the price. But I will for sure try this out just for the fun. I hope they go cheaper and this is a way to test the water in Linux.

Damage is already done, and it’s a bit too late.
There can still be harmful apps in the snap store, but I feel that this is there last chance. If any harmful app appears again in the store even with manual reviews, it’s over.

They got a great nvidia driver panel, it’s a lot more stable then Ubuntu, any os is more stable then deb based in my opinion, they always seems to break for me.
Valve recommends manjaro for there alternative to steam os. So it can’t be that bad if valve recommends it. To me manjaro is Linux mint with a twist for arch based os’es. A bit more newer software and cutting edge software then mint.

Quoting: GuestRunning some numbers, it looks like System76 runs better deals for us in the US.Why is it bad? Its arch based, they test the updated before stable so it’s not as cutting edge as arch.
Also, I don't want to start a flame war, but isn't Manjaro a bad operating system? I heard multiple Linux people say that it's not good.

Wow! This update brought such an upgrade to the screen.
Im not using the OLED one and I see a complete difference in how the screen renders stuff. Its like the colors pop more, the details are more detailed.
I have seen the full video or check the full update in my deck atm, but now Im hoping for a color/screen profile for every game like we have for watt on cpu and gpu.

This ran super poorly on both my main rig and steam deck. If you are still interested this could be a nice update.
Over a week later Apex Legends is still broken on Linux / Steam Deck (update: fixed)

Don’t really think there is any needs to worry. I would like them to buy Nintendo because then we can play Nintendo games on pc.
And as valve are trying to push there own hardware, Linux and it’s on eco system, I find it really hard for Microsoft to buy valve, valve is already an infinite money machine and want to get away from windows anyways. Steam os came to life cause valve was afraid of Microsoft not allowing them to install the valve client on windows without the user using Microsoft store. judging from windows 11 we sloooowly are getting there. But who knows, there is always a chance ofc, that Microsoft buys valve.

I would just lock my frames to 30. Smoother experience and less battery draw.
But overall this seems playable. I also think performance will be better over time cause valve and Bethesda are working on steam deck performance.

I really think this is good. Blizzard was dead once activision got their hands on them. And it’s been going worse and worse every year.
Microsoft really have some good games, they seem to release stable and solid games. I also hope this can change the culture in blizzard and bring them back to not just be about money and greed as activision like.
And there is still plenty of competition on the gaming market and I also hope we get to see blizzard games on steam :)
