I was going to ask about if it was worth it to get the first Men of War but after reading these comments about Men of War 2, I'm going to avoid it.

I like the idea and it's great that it'll let you play most of your Steam games compared to Geforce Now, which used to let you played every Steam game library you own in the early days before some publishers didn't allow it. Of course, the kernel anti-cheat games will always make it unplayable with this setup but at least this is better than nothing when it comes to cloud gaming.

It'd be nice if they allow other graphic cards besides Nvidia but I think they'll get this resolved sooner or later and I would like to try it someday when I build another gaming PC

EA SPORTS WRC is adding EA anticheat, breaking another game on Steam Deck / Linux

Linux?
Grow Linux so that it's too big a market for anyone to decide to just ignore. That's it; that's the only solution.
If only that happened over 20 years ago because at this point, Linux will never reach a large market at the rate it's going.
Huh? Our market-share seemed to have exploded last year, after endless years of hovering just around 1%. This is probably in large part thanks to the Steam Deck, and we're already getting noticed by more developers, just not the ones whose games you probably don't want to buy anyway (EA, Ubi...)
While it's great that Steam Deck has helped with increasing the marketshare, it still pales in comparison to Windows and unless Linux reaches levels that make it compelling enough for these companies to invest in creating solutions for their anti-cheat software, they don't care enough to deal with it and instead, block access without trying.

Quoting: EduAAAThey very generous, free game, but when you check let's see hmm, it's not the full game, it's a way to make people buy must have dlcs unless you wanna play a demo.
Not sure what you're getting at with this statement since the version of Dragon Age Inquisition that Epic is giving away is the Game of the Year edition, which includes the DLC and other bonuses.

Well, we can't say this is surprising since they already done this with other titles and before you know it, a majority of their newer games will have this going forward. It's too bad though because they're just leaving money on the table for those that want to play on it Linux/Steam Deck.

I guess Geforce Now is the way to go to play some of these EA games I bought that have this crappy anticheat implemented.

I took up the Dragon Age Inquisition offer from Epic since I had that game on PS4 a long time ago but never finished it but now, I can start playing it again on the Steam Deck

I had 100% Orange Juice when I first started building my Steam game collection using the Fanatical bundles and Endless Dungeon was a later grab when it offered it up for free some time ago but never started neither one of the games though.

Other than the annoying RGB lights on the analog sticks, the device and OS looks promising but still needs more time to optimize the boot up screen and when launching the games because it seems slow.

Ghost of Tsushima single-player only on Steam Deck due to PlayStation Network features

Quoting: slaapliedjeI beat this on the PS4, but had no idea actually that they added a Multiplayer, doesn't seem like it'd be a game that'd work well as multiplayer anyhow.
They added it a several months later after the release of the game, which surprised everyone at the time and a lot of people liked it. The multiplayer mode is co-op with up to three additional players.

Quoting: rustigsmedonly single player suits me. a shame it isn't on GoG like the other recent Sony releases drm free.
It's probably going to be some time before it shows up on GOG. God of War was the latest release that appeared on GOG this year and Nixxes would need to add the required SDKs to make the multiplayer work.

Quoting: legluondunetIf this work could help N64 emulator developers progress. Because today, N64 emulation is less accomplished than other console emulators.
Unless I'm wrong, I don't think this will help N64 emulator developers since this one is recompiled to worked natively without using emulators. I'm pretty sure emulators have been adding changes like the ones highlighted in the video to N64 games for some time now.
