Quoting: PenglingToy Tanks strongly reminds me of the Tanks! game from 2006's Wii Play [External Link] (which itself was a spiritual successor to 1977's Combat for the Atari 2600), which is a good base to build upon. This looks like it should be a good time, and it's nice to see a native version, too!
Yea I was going to point out this looks like a remake of Combat for the Atari 2600.

Quoting: slaapliedjeHuh, is it the native version of Enemy Territory? I still have my physical copy of Quake Wars sitting on my shelf. ET was kind of a game that started a genre and doesn't get the credit it deserves!
Its Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory not Enemy Territory: Quake Wars. Wish they would release ETQW on steam, I also have a physical copy, it ran great on Linux (ported by Timothee Besset IIRC) and is still one of my favorite multiplayer FPS games (along with Tribes 2).

This game was one of my first purchases on steam shortly after the Linux client was released:

Serious Sam 3 BFE
Red Orchestra
Darwinia
Multiwinia
Killing Floor
Probably time to give it another go :)

I was wondering how EmulationStation interacts/compares with EmuDeck and SteamRomManager.

Nek minit Retro Game Corps puts out another quality video explaining it all in detail: EmulationStation on Steam Deck! Showcase & Guide
[External Link].

Super stoked about the quality of SteamDeck emulation at this early stage, its going to be one of the Decks killer features.

Steam on Linux on ARM is being worked on here => https://gitlab.steamos.cloud/steamrt/steam-runtime-tools/-/issues/81 [External Link]

Looks like there is still a lot of very tricky work to do.

Decided to grab this to support Ukrainian humanitarian relief efforts before looking at the games it contained. After purchase I was very pleased with the game selection. I got the itch one as well but I doubt I'll ever get round to installing any itch games. Pretty happy to see my money go directly to a diverse set of relief organizations that I would never have donated to directly.

  • Razom for Ukraine

  • International Rescue Committee (IRC)

  • International Medical Corps

  • Direct Relief.

I'm a proud owner of an original Loki version of this one. Good game but not as good as my favorite Loki original Myth 2 which is one of the greatest games of all time.

Edit: OMG I forgot Tribes 2 which is nearly as good as Myth 2 and it also one of the greatest games of all time.
