Nice, good to see they are tackling support for Proton within their application. One thing that disappointed me with Lutris was them just giving up altogether once the Soldier Runtime thing started, sure you can symlink the proton runner into Lutris but several components won't work correctly which can create compatibility issues as I've discovered.
For example things like Mod Organizer 2 will fail to function fully with proton wired into lutris.
Why would someone want to use proton and not steam itself you ask? well games launched via steam proton have additional issues themselves such as things like certain system libraries not being visible to proton run apps (python comes to mind).
I'm one of those people who always seems to find those few major weaknesses with wine/proton that absolutely nobody else finds. Probably a result of my mod everything nature, never vanilla :) (all of which is perfectly fine and easy to do under windows btw)

There may be some hardware ticks you can enable with firefox about:config settings that help with latency and performance. Some are experimental, people on reddit sometimes post about these settings.
I've tested them before and they do help with embedded graphics websites so maybe would help here.
Firefox has been in degradation mode for a few months now, they are basically trying to destroy it for some reason (mozilla).
Might be time for someone to pick up the hammer under Linux and smash out a cloud/streaming edition of FF?.... (note:windows vs linux firefox can differ allot in performance)
Sadly here in South Australia my corroded copper lines can only do up to 64Mbit link and I very much doubt there is many cloud streaming centers situated in Adelaide (I'm hrs out from Ade). Australia overall is just not very suited for cloud-gaming except in those few fiber locations near CBD of Sydney/Melbourne where the data-centers are.

Quoting: slaapliedjeI have had the Q1 and Q2 and that statement is quite false. There are blind spots but nothing like what you describe.Quoting: TheRiddickThey need to go inside out tracking, ditch these tracking station nonsense! Still a very expensive premium product that most aussies can't afford.Inside out tracking is still crap in comparison though, as you basically have to stare at your hands to get proper tracking.

Slightly better then DLSS v1.0 from what I've seen so far. It has more potential since its open source and can work on any hardware. I hear RDNA3 cards will have access to a enhanced AI assisted version so maybe that will be comparable to DLSS 2+
Ironically DLSS is supported in MUCH MORE games atm thanks to mainstream engines adopting them such as UnrealEngine having it baked in. However gamedevs still need to send off textures to NVIDIA for processing, but maybe one day developers will have access to those tools themselves and NVIDIA won't need to be involved (we can only hope).
Still unsure if my next card will be a RDNA3 or NV4000...

TR2013 native always gave me significant slowdowns in several areas in the game to the point of making it not enjoyable. Yes the benchmark doesn't show these slowdowns.

Quoting: Avehicle7887The other 2 DLC are Gun and Portrait Packs, nothing story content wise. Been waiting for this game to be finished, nor really interested in playing a buggy incomplete version.Quoting: wytrabbitGame has 3 DLC available. One of them is the soundtrack which I'm fine with, the other 2 are not.Quoting: Avehicle7887While a Linux version is welcome, I refuse to buy a game which has DLC before it is even finished. Maybe I'll have a change of heart when the game is on a heavy discount. What DLC?

Anyway, very useful app, I use it all the time to keep a close eye on my proton gaming performance where sometimes you hit odd perf bugs that don't occur under win10. (I use RTSS under windows)

There is a inner sphere addition and you can get it with base game called drop something bundle for like 57AUD on fanatical. No GOG sales atm.
I'll probably wait a bit longer, give mods and more discounts to appear.
