Come to think of it, I rather like Spanish bars too. My Spanish isn't up to snuff, but you're OK as long as you can point at things and say "tinto de verano" and "jamon".
Hahaha that's so true! :D

The game looks fun, and something I can very much relate to, so added to my wish list.

US Supreme Court sides with Google against Oracle about copying APIs being 'fair use'
6 Apr 2021 at 8:39 am UTC

Really, it doesn't get much clearer than that does it? If this ruled in Oracle's favour, it would have had far-reaching implications for the entire software industry and end up causing some to hold far too much power over what people are able to actually create. Basically, it would have handed out monopolies. Thankfully, we don't need to worry about it now.
I hope you are being sarcastic there :P

Looks like Narita Boy from Studio Koba will now not be supported on Linux

Let's see if I get this right. Cancelling Linux support because of the negative investment is OK, but stating the game will get to Linux to get a positive reaction and successful campaign is also fine? No apologies, no refunds for people that backed it?

The game looks amazing, but they can piss off.

Shadow Tactics: Blades of the Shogun - Aiko's Choice standalone expansion announced

Quoting: ixnariI tried playing Shadow Tactics a while back. I was having fun right up until mission 5 or so (the one with Hayato and Yuki), then I found myself saving every other minute, because the slightest misstep resulted in a mission failure. It felt like I was supposed to progress throught the mission in a very specific way, leaving little room for creativity and improvisation.

How was the game for everyone else?
It felt that there was at least a couple of ways to solve most missions. The game got very difficult at the end, and in a mix of my lack of patience and that I'm not good with tactical games, in the last two missions had to use a guide.

Quoting: ArehandoroI love it. Also being trying it in fedora 34 and the only thing that I've been missing is Pop_OS! Shell tiling window feature. I wonder how they'll implement it for Gnome 40.
You can install the extension. Though I haven't checked if it works on 40
I had it installed, along with few more, and on 40 they all don't work :(

Microsoft reportedly have Discord in their sights to acquire

Salesforce bought Slack, Microsoft goes for Discord... and this is only the beginning of more acquisitions accelerated due to the pandemic.

I use it begrudgingly, and because most people don't care about these things or simply try to mock you if you mention Matrix or Mumble.
