I hate when games don't have vsync option, I have some simple indie games that the FPS goes to infinitum, making my computer make sounds like an airplane. This is really handy.
Hellpoint is being given away by GOG for 48 hours during their Summer Sale

DS2 is bad, cheap encounters, a lot of awkward traps.

Quoting: scaineI had a lot of fun with this. Great atmosphere and just the right level of "difficult, but do-able". Unlike when I played Dark Souls 3 and absolutely hated how unforgiving it is. Some of Hellpoints fights are hard, sure, but nothing like as bad as that.I don't think that DS3 is unforgiving, is the most fair in the series IMO. Even the fantastic Nameless King.
I actually finished this and enjoyed most of my 35 hours doing so.

What we want to see from the possible SteamPal handheld from Valve

I only wish that Valve make a separated storefront only with curated games to keep a good experience. It's like the early years of Steam Linux where you only see games that didn't run on the OS.
I'm curious to see about the storage and battery life, games on switch are generally smaller than games in other systems, and the battery isn't that great even using ARM.

I have no complains of xwayland on Wine, but this is a big game changer for Wayland. The collabora devs are doing an amazing job here...
Valve need more testing of the latest Proton Experimental for input latency improvements

The improvements will be noticeable only by people who suffered the input lag. I think that he want to people playing random games (even without lag) to see if there something broken.

Quoting: scaineHas there been any indication as to what we should look out for? It seems a bit vague on detail!Yeah, sound generic but I get.

Counter-Strike: Global Offensive gets some big changes for non-Prime accounts

I never understood why non-prime become prime for free.
This bypasses a barrier that can filter the players.
In order: VAC > Prime > Trust. VAC is a joke, Trust have issues and Prime was free.
Yeah, the price will not prevent the cheaters, but for sure, a lot of them can't afford alternatives accounts.

Valve is fantastic, but the way that it keep things in the obscurity is bizarre.
I'm following this from the beginning, it's frustrating that everything is a supposition. They supposedly fixed a supposed issue which supposedly is on Mesa.

Maybe I need to look closer but I don't see any difference in the main game, to be honest looks like it's possible to have better results with shaders on Retroarch.
Quoting: llamajackerThis had me super excited until "closed-source" :sick:Meh, the original is closed anyway, so you need to run "evil" software.
