NVIDIA to launch DLSS support for Proton on Linux tomorrow (June 22)

Quoting: robredzWonder how Metro Exodus will run in Linux with RT and DLSS?
I don't think the Linux build supports DLSS. If it did, it could already have worked before 470.

Seems to be a little short on content at the moment. But with a game like this you have to ask, what is it going to do to differentiate itself from the existing games? I don't yet see how the 3d thing makes it different as the setups still look entirely 2d. I'll keep an eye on it to see where it'll be going.

Was waiting for that update so I could use it in my new base. The roof would be especially nice since we really just have one now. Would also like to see wood that doesn't degrade outside. I'll probably need that time to come up with a good design though, so maybe it's for the better.

NVIDIA driver 470 for Linux to include support for async reprojection

After all this time it's still vague as to what was actually missing in the nvidia driver. All I have seen is a referenced vulkan extension, but that has been supported for a while and did not change anything as far as I know.

What have you been tapping play on recently? Let us know

Had a bit of a random game week since it was too hot to think straight. Did some Star Citizen since it was free to try again last week. It actually seemed more stable this time, who would have thought. With that I played some Quern and Autonauts.

Will never happen while it's called GIMP.
Unfortunately, the project for GIMP-that's-not-called-GIMP withered on the vine.
It's a obscure non-contextual meaning in one language that is not the native language of most people. You can't expect the general population to care.
