I hope they are already working on it. Otherwise it could become a source of many negative reviews.

Most games have to be ported for it in the same way as for other consoles, I think. But I also think that the developments of the last five years have made that much easier. Much easier than porting a game like The Witcher 3 to the Switch, for example.

1. That the device is a great success, even if I don't like it.
2. That all releases without exception are also released for normal Linux.

Sorry Linux, you need to create a STANDARD for how thinks works to ensure low latency at all times. Before that, I'll stick with windows that already STANDARDIZE that.

Finished the Game with Steam Controller over Bluetooth on my Linux Laptop. Okay, I'm still missing the "right" ending. But that definitely has nothing to do with Linux and latency. Except the latency in my brain. :)

Funnily enough, the Steam Controller had the best back paddles of any controller (as far as I can tell). And their construction is so simple how can you patent something like that? The decisive factor is the technical implementation.

But it has only become clear to me why Valve is diligently applying for patents. :)

It's annoying, but I suspect Valve won't go bust because of it.

DS4 works great. But such games are played with arcade sticks and the layout is designed for that.

And beware: Despite the comic graphics, this is a hardcore fighting game that requires a lot of skill but offers little variety. It's really something for fighting game purists. Because of the crazy animations (what did the developers smoke?), it's easy for newcomers to lose track of what's going on. It's nasty fast.

EDIT: And don't forget to switch to Japanese voices. Everything else is cheating. ;)

Valve's Vulkan implementation for Portal2 brings about 10% to 20% more performance on my Linux laptop. However, I have only tested briefly and only one scene. The lighting seems too bright and I have the feeling that OpenGL runs smoother despite less FPS (only a subjective impression).

Hardware: i7-7820HQ (GPU: HD 630)
OS: Xubuntu 20.4

This is a very welcome addition and I hope Valve continues to work on it.
