I too have pre ordered this game on Stadia as I'd honestly rather play an actual Linux build. Plus it's not like we knew it would work in proton DAY 0. I applaud Valve's effort but seeing as I haven't been able to grab a 6900XT yet it would be awhile before I could play this game the way I wanted to locally, therefore: Stadia.

Quoting: einherjarThey tell you: They're getting a free controller + chromecast ultra with the purchase.Quoting: Wernergreat news, but i ordered it on stadia, since finally it started in my country, i wanted to test it anyway and because they make a nice gift, if you buy Cyberpunk, you will get the Stadia Premiere Edition for free, so the game is free :). If the game is really that good then i will buy it later when all bugs are fixed and all dlc are released on Gog :).Hmm why not buying on Steam? I mean, who made it possible to play it on Linux?

I’ve been resisting spoilers for Fallen Order with the intention of playing it on Stadia. Considering I just stayed up to 5am on my first session with it I love the game so far. It’s nice to get engrossed in a single player Star Wars story again.

Non-spoiler spoiler below.
Spoiler, click me
I'm thankful that the monsters in A:R don't scared the absolute piss out of me like the monster in A:tDD did even though they're clearly aimed to be more creepy. I always forget that I enabled the amnesia monster witch mod for L4D2 every time I play the game.

Quoting: LinasI miss the original Asus Eee PC. Something in similar size and powered by ARM would be great.I will never forget seeing "linux in the wild" for the first time on one of those Asus machines at a Toys“R”Us Store as a kid.
Quoting: JuliusWhile out of stock right now, the PineBookPro is such a laptop with a reasonably fast SoC.I've been using Fedora on my Pinebook Pro with an NVMe ssd and it's been great with noticeable improvements over time.

AMD has me locked in on the high end (Hello 6900XT) but I'm still looking for a replacement for the RX 560 in my media server for GPU-accelerated transcoding. I want a low power GPU that doesn't require a PCIe power connector and can decode AV1.
It's either AMD's little RDNA2 GPUs whenever they come out or something from Intel.

I can confirm that the game launches and functions without forcing a COMPAT profile. I haven't tested outside of a brief play session as I'm currently stuck in a really scary spot. :woot:

I can also confirm the 4.2COMPAT fixed the issues I was seeing.
Edit: Water still has some issues.

No luck here with AMD, all I see upon starting the game is a brown rectangle. I was really looking forward to playing this today.
Edit: whizse's solution works for me as well. Fedora 33 - Mesa 20.2 - Kernel 5.9. I'm now almost two hours in and have noticed no issues graphically or performance wise.
Edit 2: Nevermind. The fortress is where the graphical bugs started for me.
