Yeah, the launcher is borked, but luckily some genius made a bash script that replaces the launcher. ;)

Game works really well, and the above script usually handles updates well too. I do sometimes have to add a "--firstrun" launch option in Steam after some big updates (just for one run), and also sometimes after big updates I have to replace Launcher.exe with the fake script again as Steam will overwrite it.

Re China... I've totally underestimated how huge that market is. This week's top-selling game on Steam is a Chinese language only early access game. Think about that.

Ultimately these teases are shooting themselves in the foot except in one situation: A day 1 (or soon after) Linux release. Then they can be as secretive as they want. Or if they reveal the game before it becomes for sale on Windows.

I'm amazed he has the energy to still care about Linux porting since he's pretty much entirely a Mac user, unless I am mistaken. Matters not though - we still getting ports. :)
