Sea Serpents will try and have your boat for lunch. They have mean bite too.

Fulings are the pain. They come in packs, and hit very hard. Doable, but gotta be very careful.
(the 2 star ones in particular)

Deathsquitos are just like regular skeeters now. *SWAT* :D

I agree on the flat roof, and of course, need a hatch.

The terrain optimization is hugely welcome. Did the optterrain on the main base, and it really really
made a diff in the fps. Loading is so much faster now.

(which means making a large sprawling village/farms is doable/playable now)

A way to get rid of unwanted items more easily would be nice indeed.
(right now, it's load up the boat, sail into ocean and dump it. hmm, that's prolly why the sea serpent
wants to eat my boat. Littering!) :P

192 hrs and counting. Furlings just killed our boat too (and me). Only way to Bonemass is near them.

(btw, it's fun to watch them fight the greydorfs and draugr. pick off the survivors. get all 3 on the fwd base we picked.)

I still have some of those old Loki games, and one, Civ:CTP does work on modern linux with a bit of fiddling, (just a bit), except for the music. That's solved just by having something else play the CD. :)

Mandrake for Gaming included Sims for Linux (no number, just The Sims)

It's fun trying to get that old stuff going for sure. (and I do have one old box kicking about that I just may try and get going again in a couple months. Bunch of old vid cards, even have an old 5.25" floppy drive kicking about. heh)

Curious how your trials are going to turn out. :)

(I went through them all once already, as it all happened. Linux on 25 floppies? shudder)

I find it highly addictive, almost like the "just one more turn..." in Civ.

26hrs, have the first boss done, doing the bronze upgrades...
mining is a chore to be sure... I thought the default 7DTD storage was bad..

However, there are hilarious parts, bashing a skeleton and watching the bones
go flipping end over end in all directions..

The physics.. George of the Jungle. Watch out for that... Treeeee... ouch!
Chain reactions on trees is fun.

For $20 it's a good buy, and it works great in 4k res in linux.

Did crash once so far. (hard lockup, alt-f1 to do a kill -9 on it, middle of stream)

Graphics are low res, but remember, FTL has low res graphics too.
Fun game though.

What I find amusing too, is you can world/seed hop with your char, and move stuff between them.

(so yes, found the trader seed online, once you get there, sell/buy, logout, go to main world.
need the trader again, login to that world, and you are standing right there. cheesy, yes.
Handy, good gods yes)

btw, I blame GOL for this, just like 7DTD. (3400hrs in 3 years ...)

Cross platform has been a thorn for ages. Yammered about extensively in the linux threads on steam for the game/platform.

I'm just glad this means we're finally getting the latest patch. yay!
