The real problem is Tim Sweeney with his crappy attitude and that he doesn't want to support Valve.
Anyway I'm not buying anything from Epic Fail Games, after they locked my account before I couldn't even install the client(!!!) because I violated their terms of use. As I asked what I did wrong? Ok, I created an account on Epic, which was obviously a big violation  I didn't get an answer, just a some rude email, that they don't talk about it! I violated the terms, and thats it! About three months later I got an email in which they apologizing that my account lock was wrong, and they are very very sorry and I got 20 bucks for the store. Do they really think that I will spent any money in this 💩💩💩 store?

To be honest I give a shit. This whole migration disaster has killed my mood to play Minecraft at all.
I moved several Accounts to Microsoft. EVERYONE got locked. I still don't know why. The Minecraft Support is completely useless. The don't read your tickets, they just assuming what this ticket is about and then send out their "standard" emails. Feels more like chatting with an AI like ChatGPT. Only stupid answers which have nothing to do with the problem at all.
The migration process didn't work. Only got an error message "This service is temporary unavailable". Also discovered several different ways in the process for creating a Microsoft Account(!!!). It was a pain, especially with this useless support. The solution in the end was to hit a few time back in the browser to solve the "temporary" problem WTF?!?! *facepalm*
Sorry, but I have enough from this Microsoft Bullshit!

Problem with the Migration is that you have zero support from Mojang or Microsoft if Microsoft decides to lock down your account after the migration AND is not telling you why the account was locked, so you could prevent it with the next account!!! Happend with every single one of my accounts and it took weeks to unlock. Same happened as I bought Minecraft Dungeons on Steam. Account locked without a reason!

Halo: The Master Chief Collection gets Steam Deck support

Would be great if Microsoft would improve their support too. I refunded Halo because Microsoft locked up my Microsoft Accounts without any reason. I still don't know why they have been locked. There is no response, no support, no nothing from Microsoft! So the devs can improve what they want. I give a damn about it! Oh and keep playing the original Halo on my Steam Deck

I have purchased the game as it was in "Early Access" for about 20 Bucks to support the development of the game! To be honest I feel NOT respected by this answer! If I could then I would refund the game right now!
The truth is they don't want ever to put the game on a sale. Oh and btw! Isn't there an DLC upcoming which should have the same price as the game? Which is IMHO the real reason for that <censored>!!!

"respecting the players who have already purchased the game" and not to "reward the people who hold off on buying the game".What? WHAT? WHAAAAAAAAAAT?!?!?!?!!? What kind of bullshit (sorry!) is this?!?!?!

The best Linux distribution for gaming in 2023

I'm not surprised that Ubuntu is the number one Distro on Steam. SteamOS was based on it before the switch to Arch.
I used (X/K)ubuntu for the last six years, and yes it is an easy setup for gaming, and it was nice for developing too before 22.04 came around :(
But Ubuntu has some flaws:
- forced snap support for applications
- no updates for non-LTS versions after 9 month, which I can live with, but ...
- removing repositories for non-LTS after 9 month, which I can NOT live with. This is not OK!
- no check of dependencies, some libraries are just to old for some applications :(
Mint is nice for gaming too, but IMHO a bit of a mess, with its wild mixture of packages. It is just a ticking time bomb. I'm not using it anymore after several broken systems after updates.

ARK: Survival Evolved switches away from Linux Native to use Proton

The game is a bug mess, not only the linux build. Then the GUI is a mess as well. If I want to play a TEXT Adventure then I play Zork. The "Options Menu" is the next mess.
BTW: The Minecraft Version "Pix Ark" installs 27 GB!!! WTH? LOL!
I have just two words for this mess: Incompetent Developers
I'm not surprised that they move to Proton. The Game worked a lot better with Proton for a long time already. But it is still a bug fest nevertheless!
