im holding myself back for 1 month. just to wait and see what happens with the steam linux client rumors.
its mostly because most of my friends are using windblows and DRM free copy of Trine 2 doesnt match with the steam versions multiplayer. So im unable to play with friends then.
and i also dont want to buy the windows version, because they support our beloved platform natively :)

i havent had any problems with the humble bundle games. only problem i had was with avadon. but it was corrupt download and md5 didnt match. redownload fixed it.
i guess open source drivers still the common issue for some games with more gaphical detail or features and also some sound problems that have been plagued linux quite some time.
i myself havent run into those tho. but i have been using prop drivers with my ati card when i had it and now with nvidia as well.

"Now we have multiplayer via LAN and via Internet only on Steam/XBLA/PSN. Because we don't have own matchmaking server. If Desura will run matchmaking SDK, we are ready implement it."
thats sad ... i would like multiplayer.. coop or against eachother.

ok now got rid of that pixbuf issue also
i had this loaders.cache on different place since i have 64bit system. made a symlink of it to i386-linux-gnu and the error is gone.
so its not affecting the segfault just to be sure...alltho it was expected.

i dont care if it has wine wrapper or is native from the ground up, if i get the allmost same perf/graphics quality as under windows.
i ofc would prefer native anytime..but if the wrapper is made nicely then i dont complain much. and if i do like the game i buy it anyway.
i buy games that are for windows only also, which just work under wine well enaugh.
i dont mind using wine.
