A Plague Tale: Requiem
Beautiful looking game, that runs pretty good, despite many complaining about performance. Needs Proton Experimental though.

Troubleshooting games that come with Denuvo is super annoying, as it will lock you out for 24h+ when, for example, you switch around proton versions too much.
If a game works, fine, if you have to try out thing to make it work, you're in for trouble. :(
Still, looking forward to PS5. Just wish Steam would stop releasing games for a year or two, so I can catch up with my ever growing backlog. :/

I wonder if the SteamDock also causes issues with my TVs CEC. For the JSaux I needed to buy a special HDMI adapter that doesn't route CEC, otherwise none of my other CEC capable devices can be controlled. Took me a while to find out why...
As for the price, I think that's okay, as it includes the required PSU - which is proven and has a good cable length. Might get the dock in addition to my JSaux one.

I'm feeling a little bit anxious, if there ever will be a Steam Deck 3, given Valves track record.

Quoting: GuestI know nothing about "games publishing" but in my mind, a games developer is someone who wants to make games, while a games publisher is someone who wants to make money... off someone else creativity, talent, and hard work.Yeah, but the publishers usually are the ones funding the development, fully or in part, and they usually would like to get their money back. It's not that the developers don't get anything in return.

VRChat adds Easy Anti-Cheat, community not happy but Linux and Steam Deck work fine

Good to hear it still works on linux.
To be fair, modified clients always were violating the TOS, afaik. There can be good reasons to have a modified client, but a lot of nasty things were done using these as well. Plus VRChat had a massive issue with people exploiting things in many ways that ruined the experience for a lot of people. I've been away from VRChat for a while, but I guess that didn't get any better.
So I absolutely can see why they did it, if it is the best way to do it and if it will be of any help, I can't say.

Very great game, especially for cat lovers. It's fun to see and do things my cats do all the time :)
For me it runs very well with default settings on the deck on 30fps. I've limited the CPU usage to 8W to get a bit more out of the battery (otherwise it consumes like 20W), therefore it's not a stable 30fps - but almost. Without limitations I haven't noticed drops.
I had one issue on the main screen, where the steam overlay didn't work well. Could not adjust volume without opening the overlay and when I tried to respond to a chat message, it would not show the chat and controls were no longer responding. I had to reboot to fix it. Once in the game, things went smoothly.

Thank you for another helpful and informative overview!
I'm a little bit astonished that there are that many native titles among these Top 50 - nice!
On a side note: I own way too many of these. :D
