Isometric fantasy RPG Zoria: Age of Shattering gets a new demo and Kickstarter

Quoting: GuestKickstarter just smells like burnt promises and lies. Obviously this depends on what horses you've personally backed in the past but for me I just got sick of lemons, fall short promises or backing something for feature X for them to yank feature X despite making all their goals and more. (feature "X" is often a Linux build)
I'd really watch out for a demo running on Linux. Of course, it's not a guarantee, but it's a very good sign that they are prepared to do it.

Quoting: fabertaweI guess I'm not the target market but last year I swapped my GTX 970 for an RX 6600. Roughly double the performance for a lower TDP! (148 v 132 if I'm not mistaken).
I don't know these values of any card, so just for the records: Most important for average computer users is probably the power draw at normal desktop usage, not the last Watt a card could possibly pull during a high demand game.

A new Proton Experimental release hooks up NVAPI for lots of games on Linux

Quoting: mahagrHas someone tested what's the current performance difference between a native version and Proton using the same settings?
This should depend on the game, some settings and maybe even what the graphics driver can support, IMHO.
(But I never tried Proton when there's a native version.)

Quoting: EikeI need to make a confession. I bought a Steam Deck just because I found it cool, without an actual use case for it. Yesterday, sitting in the bed playing "Justin Wack and the Big Time Hack" [External Link], I found that I do have a use case. :)
Thanks for pointing out this game! This genre is dear to my heart.
Then let me drop some tips...

* Voodoo_ Detective [External Link]
* Intruder In Antiquonia [External Link]
* Nine Noir Lives [External Link]
* Lucy Dreaming [External Link]
* PRIM [External Link]
* A Trail of Ooze [External Link]
* Rosewater [External Link]

... and, obviously...

* Return to Monkey Island! [External Link] (soon to be ported)

I cannot vouch for all of them, but I'll buy them sooner or later. Some have/had good demos.
It's a good time for point and click!

Quoting: Comandante ÑoñardoThey don't have the resources for to fill the entire world demand of Steam Deck....

This centralized method will fail.
I'm quite confident it is a success already.

And while, quite obviously, they don't have the resources to fill the entire world demand of Steam Deck immediately,
just as obviously, they do have the resources to fill the entire world demand of Steam Deck sooner or later.

Return to Monkey Island is out now, Linux version due soon

Quoting: stee1ratNot available in Russia. I guess I will have to pirate it, even though I would really like to support the authors.
How is game availability in Russia nowadays? Is it depending on the game?
