KDE releases the Plasma 5.20 desktop - just as beautiful as ever

I played around with Plasma in a VM not that long ago, and I found that it was a really pretty desktop with really ugly widgets to make it functional.

Seemed to work fine otherwise though. Not really sold on the idea of switching to it.

Not sure this is my kind of puzzle game, but that has to be the nicest voxel art I've ever seen.

Good work on this one. Gave me something to listen to since the sound cut out (again!) on Civ:BE.

I honestly don't think Vulkan is all we have to worry about in terms of Microsoft's purchase of Zenimax, it's the general media consolidation in gaming. We've already seen it progressing in other entertainment and information fields (the vast bulk of films in theatres are owned by one company, for instance, so they get to dictate terms), and I really don't like seeing that in the game space. Granted it affects me less since I prefer stuff from smaller studios to AAA, but it still has an effect.

The headline makes it sound like they put out a patch because there was way too much murder.

Yeah they never really ask what the players want do they?
Players' role is to shut up and keep shovelling money in.

Valve rolls out News Channels onto Steam to follow your favourite curators - like us!

I generally haven't found following curators to be all that useful, tbh. Maybe I'm just not seeing the right way to utilize the feature?

Most of my gaming purchases are more related to reading GoL and talking to people, can't think of a single time a curator recommendation has influenced that.

Quoting: elmapulplus, they dont need to make money by ads if they can sell an product.
Electroinc Arts would like a word.

The marketing industry is absolutely salivating at the prospect of increasing ad presence in games, and I'm not talking just the free to play stuff. And the AAA industry is all too happy to take their money.

Dicey Dungeons, the innovative and great fun deck-builder has a huge update out

I'll add that with the episodes, you can do runs with each of the characters that significantly changes their rulesets, giving you even more fresh experiences to work with.

Ugh, and I just tried the Itch version, and there's no update. I don't have the new room, stickers or anything. There doesn't seem to be a way to contact them via Itch either.

EDIT: I've made a post on their Steam forum and sent a direct message on Twitter, so hopefully this can get cleared up.

EDIT 2: Heard back from the dev, they totally forgot to update Itch altogether. Just updated and tried it, and all features are working great.

Oh, and it's also on Itch, which seems to have been missed in the article.
