Yay! Sales again!

I'd just like to recommend New Super Lucky's Tale [External Link] at £7.19 (70% off) - it's a genuinely excellent 3D platformer that ranks amongst my favourite games ever, and considering that I don't enjoy most 3D platformers, that's high praise indeed!

Quoting: neolithDid I see portable portals?
And if played on a Steam Deck, they'd be portable portals whilst playing Portal on a portable!

Valve gives Steam a nice upgrade for controller-friendly games

I noticed this start showing up when browsing Steam a few days ago - it's a neat little addition!

What do you prefer to game with?
Steam Deck primarily, and if/when docked I use an Xbox Series X controller.

I am intrigued! I haven't played the other games in the series, though I have heard of them, so this might be a good jumping-on point. Thanks for the heads-up.

Half-Life 25th Anniversary Update brings Half-Life: Uplink, Steam Deck support
18 Nov 2023 at 2:27 am UTC Likes: 6

Did not expect to get to GOL this weekend to hear about Half-Life getting a 25th anniversary update out-of-the-blue, AND it being given away for free for a limited time. I last played Half-Life (briefly, due to my motion-sickness issues with first-person games) at a friend's place back when it was new, and never bought it myself*.

*For anyone thinking "But everyone owns Half-Life!", you've now met the exception.

With small bursts of FPSes on the Steam Deck not making me queasy, there's no time like the present to actually play it for myself.

SteamOS 3.5.5 rolls out to all Steam Deck owners, plus new Steam Client update

Quoting: CatKillerOne thing to note with this update: if you had a per-application framerate cap set previously then updating will make the Deck forget about it because of the new slider. I ate most of my battery playing GTA Batman before I noticed.
Thanks for the warning! I haven't gotten to install it yet and was wondering if it might do that.

Brilliant - been looking forward to this update! For some games I've found that the late LCD model can look a bit too saturated, so being able to adjust that should help.

All of the fixes and new additions for external storage should be handy, too.

Sounds like a great update overall, going by the full update-notes!
