The four new Dwarf Fortress items [External Link] are up now (the Dwarf Fortress Vinyl Soundtrack [External Link], Expedition Leader's Journal [External Link], Menacingly Spiked Hoodie [External Link] complete with a set of spikes and studs to opionally customise it with, and the Age of Myth Desk Mat [External Link], to go with the previously-released Losing is Metal t-shirt [External Link], Fortress Cross-Section Pint Glass [External Link], and +Finely-Crafted Dwarven Pin+ [External Link] ).
I have almost no familiarity with the game outside of reading the "Boatmurdered [External Link]" Let's Play, so I don't feel qualified to write an article about it, but here are the links, anyway.

Quoting: StoneColdSpiderWhere is Alucard the most beautiful vampire in the cosmos???......There's not really a spoof of him in Vampire Survivors - or any vampires at all, for that matter.
Quoting: TheSHEEEPI'd get a garlic pin, if it existed.I'm utterly amazed that there isn't one yet!
Quoting: neolithPlease tell me those things aren't linked to any achievements... I already cannot keep up. :neutral:I hope not, haha!

Don't worry, I'm pretty sure we're alright - it's related to the Tetris Effect [External Link] (the neurological phenomenon, not the game that pinched its name), and was a known thing generations before video games existed!

Quoting: Eriand now I dream with a white background.Oh man, I know how that is. I play enough Bomberman that an epic session often leads to me seeing random maze layouts being blown up when I shut my eyes.

This isn't the sort of game that I would usually play, but I just wanted to say thanks for the informative and entertaining review.
Also, I got a good chuckle out of the screenshot showcasing the guy who set the shed on fire!

There are no Deck control layouts for the game yet, but I used the keyboard and mouse preset as a base and have been gradually adjusting it to my liking. When you perfect this, be sure to upload it as a community layout!

Nothing for me in this list, unfortunately!
I also grabbed Retro Classix: Joe & Mac - Caveman Ninja [External Link] (Proton) in the same sale, since I liked the game as a kid, and have been playing that too. I'm glad that it's been kept in circulation, but I would advise only buying the Data East Retro Classix releases on sale, as they're very barebones, and only allow a harsh-looking CRT-style or super-blurry non-CRT-style display-options, with no bezel artwork - no 1:1 square-pixels view or anything like that.
What have you been playing lately? After picking it up for pennies in the recent Humble Handheld Friendly Sale, I've been playing a lot of the wonderful Downwell [External Link] (Proton) this week.

As long as there's no anti-cheat or anti-tamper stuff to cause problems on Linux, they had me at "fun, competitive, multiplayer games that you can enjoy with friends for years" - that's right up my alley, and I've always had a selection of games like that in my library since time immemorial. It looks like exactly my sort of ridiculous, too, and the emotes look hilarious as well!

Quoting: Liam DaweNothing surprises me any more really, we've seen so many broken releases...I guess before too long, I'll start seeing things similarly - I just haven't seen enough of it yet.
Quoting: StoneColdSpiderIt will be even more surreal when he has to write that they found the saves hiding in a cardboard box....... :tongue:Or that they made the saves into a box.
Quoting: StoneColdSpiderAnd yet people are still clamouring to buy games on day 1.......It's horse-armour all over again, every time...
