Quoting: ArdjeThe indoctrination of students at schools by "sponsorship" from microsoft if you go microsoft only. (Apple still does that).Microsoft still does it [External Link], too (linked article is a few years old, but unfortunately still relevant).

Though there's not a lot for me in this bundle, I think that ~£1.17 per game (or 41p per game, if you count Pac-Man Museum+ as the 14 games that it contains) is pretty good, personally.

Quoting: Liam DaweAh yes, Steam, something for everyone 🤣It's very much like a ducky follow-up to Little Computer People [External Link], in its way.
Quoting: Linux_RocksThis game is so relaxing & cool. I've got all the DLC too. It's definitely worth checking out. My duck with the propeller hat left my pool & went out to sea. Which is a Steam achievement apparently. lolMine got stuck under the sun-lounger!
Quoting: GuestThe game has a couple of secrets and mysteries if you dig deeper. Some of the features that the ducks have are great fun to uncover, too - finding out the purpose of the red one after I got the bull-duck gave me a great laugh.
But yes, can't have enough rubber duckies.
Quoting: StoneColdSpiderI will just leave this here......... [External Link]It had to be done!

Quoting: TheSHEEEPYou could basically let AI write the entire play at this point.
From soulless corporate leaving blabla to soulless corporate replacement blabla and generic corporate statement as glue between those events.
Nobody would notice if any of those things were or were not written by a human being, as everything is just meaningless platitudes anyway.
Quoting: Purple Library GuyTechnically, we don't know for sure that isn't how it was done.
Quoting: benstor214Wait… is this some kind of grotesque Turing test?I think I prefer this AI-written movie [External Link]...

I'd be surprised if the lack of availability in all countries wasn't playing some part, here.

YEE! Just this morning I was bemoaning a general lack of new maze-chase games on Steam in another news-thread, and now this!
Super Bomberman R Online (which launched on and then left Stadia, closed down, and then recently got rolled into Super Bomberman R 2) sold me on the maze-chase/battle-royale/cute-player-outfits genre mash-up, so this Pac-Man take on that formula is definitely very welcome. (I was never interested in Stadia, so this is my first time hearing of it.)
Pac-Man Mega Tunnel Battle: Chomp Champs looks considerably better than Nintendo's Pac-Man 99, though, as Pac-Man 99 never allowed interaction with other players - you were restricted to your own maze, and could only send garbage to other players' screens. Don't get me wrong, it was fun, but the lack of interaction undermined its potential.
As long as it works under Proton and isn't hampered by something nasty like Denuvo, I trust that us GOL'ers can expect to see each other out there, once the game's out?

I love the distinctly ZX Spectrum-style look here (it's something that I grew up with due to the Commodore 64 ports of The Oliver Twins' Dizzy games, since they retained that look). The efforts to cut down on tedious JRPG grinding are much appreciated, too!
Humble removing the Humble Games Collection from Humble Choice

Quoting: WorMzyI'm still bitter about the Giana Sisters debacle. Fuck Humble.
Quoting: ShabbyXYeah, that's _exactly_ thr bundle after which I stopped paying any attention to Humble whatsoever.I've only been in the Linux-gaming scene for a couple of years, so I missed this. What happened?
Not that I care about Giana Sisters in any way, but it was the promise that wasn't delivered that killed the bundles for me.

A little something for everyone it seems. But unfortunately not for me! There's nothing that's catching my eye at all, and there's not even a genre filter for one of my lifelong favourites, maze-chase, which just goes to show how small that genre's gotten over the years.
