Roguelite shooter Arcadegeddon hits Steam with Steam Deck support

To be honest, I'm not a fan of a game that you have to pay for that also has "In App Purchases" too. There's just something about it that rubs me the wrong way. I tend to skip them unless I *really* wanna play it.

The loot box games disgust me, and the blatant gambling in NBA 2K does as well. (That's on top of the money generated from NBA 2K not also going to former players enough, even if their likeness is used.)

No way, nuh-uh. I'm not touching Mighty No. 9, hahaha! Gravity Circuit looks like exactly my jam, though.
I think it gets as low as like $2 USD on Steam during the sales. Since you backed it, you may as well play it at that price. lol
I suppose there comes a point in game quality where the cost of the time you put into it alone, which you can never get back, is too much investment before you even get to giving them actual money.
XD

I was one of the idiots who backed it! I only threw in about a fiver, though, so I never ended up having to play it.
Come to think of it. I also bought it off PSN on sale for like $3 or $4 USD too. I got both the PS3 and PS4 versions though.

Microsoft wins against FTC to buy Activision Blizzard
11 Jul 2023 at 5:59 pm UTC Likes: 1

The only positive outcome from this merger is Microsoft cleaning house and lessening the toxic culture at Activision-Blizzard.

Outside of that, this is shit. I don't trust Microsoft. Whether it's this, or their "<3" Linux crap. I know it might sound paranoid. But I feel that the latter is just them trying to ruin Linux from the inside. I remember the old Microsoft and their practices. They're back at it buying whatever they can. Though if they do somehow managed to ruin Linux. At least there's still FreeBSD.

I only use Microsoft products and services when I absolutely need to. Then when it comes to gaming I'm not an anti-fanboy. So if a game is on Xbox that I want. I'm not gonna miss out on it. Plus my pirating of most of my OG Xbox games cancels that out anyways. XD

Multi-vendor RGB controller app OpenRGB v0.9 is out now

If I had built my own gaming PC I'd have probably bought a new old stock ATX beige mid-tower case with a fan port on the side. Either that, or still got a black case with a window, but then put bitchin' blue cold cathodes in it. To have that sorta aura that you just can't get with LED. For a lack of a better way to put it: LEDs have "sharp" light. While cold cathodes have a "dull" light, but that's actually in a good way. lol

I don't really care for RGB and LED lighting in PCs. I liked cold cathodes, and even miss beige cases and 5¼" external drive bays. But cause of the parts shortage, I was forced to buy a gaming PC instead of building one. (Thankfully Micro Center's house brand PowerSpec just uses off the shelf parts.) But it came with RGB, and cause of that I went and made it sarcastic with the RGB and added even more to it. So this will be cool to see if it works better with my setup now. lol
