Did not expect that!
Since you didn't mention it, I went and checked whether I could find the Linux depot, but that doesn't exist. It turns out they included the Linux binaries in the Windows depot, but did add a separate Linux configuration. First time I see it done like that. Does that actually work properly in the Steam client?

Quoting: PhiladelphusHuh, I played Star Wars: Episode I: Racer maybe two years ago or so on Proton. Though I remember it had a game-breaking bug at first where it acted like I was constantly holding down "right". I did manage to fix it somehow (I've forgotten how), but if that's been fixed so it works out-of-the-box that's good news.Might have regressed to a non-functional state as well. Seems to happen a lot. I see a crash fix for The Turing Test, a game I played and completed back in May 2020 without issues. Kind of shows how hard it is to maintain full compatibility against a moving closed source target.

Tried Selaco (wow, that is tough), Renown (borked) and Astro Colony (two hours were gone in the blink of an eye). Still lots to try!

Quoting: Deleted_UserWould be nice to have some indication of the genre within such lists of games, since some of them are ruled out in general in my case. It would be a quality of life addition. You're better off using the filters on Steam. Not only can you filter for everything, but you also see all demos instead of just a pick. And with 175 native linux demos, there is A LOT more than listed in the article.
Techland ends support for Dying Light, 7 years after release

And dropping 60 euro on a game? Not going to happen unless it is a native title. But practically the release state of the current games is such that you're better off waiting anyway. Play 6 to 12 months later and you get a better game for a much lower price. And being there on day one really not a factor for me, my Steam library is big enough to carry me over many years if needed.

Quoting: scaineI'm looking forward to trying out DL2, but it's still got that anti-consumer bs, Denuvo, attached to it, so I'll hang fire for now.Not just denuvo for me, any kind of 3rd party dependency on a single player game means no sale.
I'd drop £55 on the sequel in a heartbeat... once they do the right thing!

So if you install this "free" game including ONE of the free map extensions, you'll have to sacrifice about 200 GB of SSD space. I thought BL3 was bad.
One advantage of the native version. The graphical penalty that it takes makes the install quite a bit smaller.

Quoting: Liam DaweThanks. They seem to move it further and further away. That probably means they'll get rid of it at some point.Quoting: EhvisCan anybody still find the "pause" or "skip" option for Humble Choice? I can't find it. Dug it up from my browser history though and it still works.Account settings -> Humble Choice heading -> Manage plan.

GOG Summer Sale now live with new releases from SEGA

Quoting: chomwittI think it a proSteam mostly policy because steam can reliable monetize linux users. That seems to be the case. On GOG, Sega would be the sole publisher and would have to make an effort for the Linux/mac builds and separating the income. It doesn't look like they are willing to do that. I don't even know if gog can clearly separate the sales by platform.

Both GSYNC and VR don't work. That's two critical bits of functionality that are enough on their own to skip Wayland for now.
