Microsoft president admits they were wrong on open source

They wont open source ms office because it accounts for so much revenue from business licences and i do not care who you are or what you say yes open source office suites have gotten so much better over the last 10 years however if you work for business and they are a serious company they use office because it is the industry standard now how it go to be the industry standard is whole other conversation. Do i believe they have changed nope do i believe they are embracing linux in an attempt to make a proprietary server flavour of windows yes one that part open source and just enough code so they can copyright it.

Quoting: NagezahnIt's always a nice thing when new things and old things get along well, but in this specific case for me it doesn't make a difference - there's usually too much time passing between upgrades. Still running an Athlon X4 860K here. And while I'm thinking about upgrading ever since Ryzen released, there's always a new version of them coming up on the "horyzen" that I fell there's never the point where I "have to" upgrade. After all, my machine is still working for the things I feed it.
That is very true upgrades are nice but if you constantly upgrading and the most demanding thing you play is esports titles its not like you need 20 cores its nice to have but you dont need it. I had that processor back in the day and i had no issue playing witcher 3 or fallout 4 back in my dual boot days.

Combat

Both games have somewhat clunky combat which takes time getting used to and even then doesn't seem right. Kingdom Come is the clear winner here however, because the combat has way more depth and multiple ways you can approach it.

To each his own personally i like fast flowing combat so witcher 3 is a clear winner here because kingdom come has a worse version of the warband mixed with skyrims combat.

Quoting: PatolaAh, another Spiders fan! Have you played Technomancer to compare?

Does it run well on Proton? I have not finished Expeditions: Conquistador yet... How do the two compare?
Sorry to say, I haven't played "Technomancer" yet. I've had it on my wishlist forever but first I was hoping for a native linux port and then proton arrived and I almost forgot about it in the flood of new gaming possibilities. I will get around to it in time without question.

As for "Expeditions: Vikng",It runs great with proton but you must switch to "Proton-5.6-GE-2" for everything to work properly. The combat and camping mechanics are very similar. but there is also much more focus on resource gathering and building up strength & prosperity in your danish "home base".
Technomancer works fine under lutris, I cant speak to spiders other games but for some reason technomancer clicked with me so i ve played through it a couple of times now

That's been a fan request since time immemorial; hopefully the next one will be set in Japan & *they'll end the series*.
I dont its ever going to end as really its one of ubi most profitable games I do not think watchdogs turned out to be the money spinner they were hoping for wildlands and the sequel with the guy from walking dead bombed apparently. I know the division was popular for a time. There has been no splinter cell game in ages. Really Assassins creed is all they have.

I'm a huge fan of the setting! I somewhat recently blitzed through the Vikings TV series and so this news has me personally quite pumped-up and excited.
You should check out The Last Kingdom, if you haven't already. I felt Vikings significantly dropped in quality after the first couple of Seasons.
You mean after the ragnar saga ended yeah it did and yes the last kingdom literally the only decent thing the bbc have made in years it is a shame they ended it with such a whimper
Netflix has actually continued the show. It just released the 4th season/series of the show
They did when i dont want to spoil it if people have not seen it but if the end of battle of mercia i have seen it all but the season ending was not great.

Quoting: Purple Library GuyIs it just me or is "Assassin's Creed" kind of an odd name for a game about Vikings?
Well really the only thing i find odd is that this is Assassins creed 11 if you include the main entry only if you include the three sub games its ac14

Assassins creed 1,2,brotherhood,revelations,ac3,ac4,rogue,unity,syndicate,origin,oddessey,liberation,china,india and now with vahalla its 15 and yet still not one single game set in warring states period in japan home of the Ninja.
